Any ideas how to run it…?
Uhh yeah it does “don’t work” all ya gotta do is go to the NODVD folder and go into each file and copy the contents and copy them over to the corisponding folder, runs perfect on my comp AMD ryzen 1600 and gtx 1070 so either you didn’t do it right or maybe your comp can’t handle it.

sorry guys but how do you install it? I put all the nodvd files into the corresponding files, but I do not know how to launch or install the game from the files given in the download.
so … i have dl the game transfert the nodvd file and now the game is like that : https://i.redd.it/d32y1qq9l6zy.jpg for all the text ….
So the game starts up in russian, already fixed that by changing the localization file names, but i have no voice lines in game, like no voice audio at all, i cant talk with other npcs or listen to audio logs

Cheers man, wasn’t sure if it did work as i initially had a problem, reading you’re post reassured me i had made an error , which i had, although i can’t get the mooncrash dlc/expansion etc, to work the game just crashes, and not on the moon…..
cheers…..also you need to change language in config file if you don’t want Russian, and finally i had a mare trying to change the up/down controls to invert, the text says tab-page left….to browse through options including control options but it is actually on my keyboard tab and “e”…
To change language :
1. Go to Prey Digital Deluxe\Prey.Digital.Deluxe.v.1.09.Incl.DLCs\Prey\Binaries\Danielle\x64\Release
2. Then open Valve.ini
3. It’s written Language=russian, erase russian and writte english

Please help: The game won’t let me switch back to the base game Prey. When I launch the game, it starts in the Mooncrash DLC. There is an option in the main menu to “return to Prey”, but when I click on it, nothing happens. I want to play the main game first but it seems like I can’t access it.
I launch the game with the Prey.exe in the Whiplash folder. The Prey.exe in the normal binary folder does not launch the game. When I double click it, nothing happens. There is a Prey entry under processes in task manager, but the game doesn’t launch. I can only launch it from the Whiplash folder.
It seems it is only the Mooncrash DLC that is cracked and playable. The base game does not work and will not launch.

Following @AceofSpades’s guide makes the game work fine as far as I can tell:
– firstly you may wanna make a copy of the entire folder so you won’t need to redownload everything again.
– copy the files from the NoDVD folder to the Prey folder (safer if you archive NoDVD and then extract it)
To change language as @8=======D said change Language=russian to Language=english in Valve.ini from the Prey\Binaries\Danielle\x64\Release folder (it’s probably set to read only so you need to untick that)
And if you are having sound crackling in game (with the scope on) you need to disable SPDIF in your windows volume controls.
Worst crack in history
umm im pretty sure ive placed the crack right, because i can run the game in the whiplash folder. However, the game loads only Mooncrash and I cant get back into the base game. When i open the game in the one in Prey\Binaries\Danielle\x64\Release\Prey.exe i get a prompt that states antidenuvo.dll is not meant to run on windows or has an error. How do i fix this, anyone?

Nothing happens. NOTHING! Poor attempt… Now I will download YET ANOTHER MFNG BIG file and see if the pro’s did a better job.
there is no elevator interface after I leave my apartment in “First Day on the Jog” so I can’t get to the helicopter. What file am I missing?
The intro videos and the main menu are fine but I have no sound in-game.
I don’t need to have Steam, do I?
Found a solution to my sound problem. Turns out I needed a DirectX update.
Ok how do you get Xbox controllers to work without steam?
