I had the same issue was Wasp. Turning off my internet connection before starting up the game works.

Some people reported, that the game is stuck after the title screen.
It’s important to block the game in your firewall. If that still
doesn’t work (e.g. Windows Firewall causes the game to hang when
other firewalls like G-Data work fine), use this quick and easy fix.

Help! I already copy the network fix to game dir, but still, everytime I open the main game executable, nothing happens! I already granted the admin privilege and everything, but I still can’t play!
Didnt work with Network Fix. (Still) Freeze menu screen. Mouse is working but still freeze on menu.

Windows 10 claims that it will invade your PC to shut down pirated software. If you have Win 10 then say goodbye to the torrent games. It”s was so free it was a scam! Have fun buying all the games and softwares.
For those of you whose game won’t initially start, you have to restart your computer. Then try to play. I looked it up in the steam forums, and it now reaches the initial loading screen (P.S. I am using a pirated version)

I installed the game successfully but when I tried to run the app. .It say steam must be online? Now what is it… how to get rid of it and make it play offline?
@Jigme. Download and install the 1.1v patch then you’ll not have this problem anymore.
Instead the game crashes after 20minutes campaign … I don’t know why. Someone has the same bug ?
for those of u who cannot start bc of the thing about game update, just disconnect from internet and select offline mode, problem is that i cannnot save game
