    To fix the missing info files, change the date on your computer to before Feb 28 2016

    I can’t access the kindred.exe file. when I attempt to open it, it says the file is “missing”. What do I do?

    Not working, it’s saying that it can’t find where i downloaded, and adviding me of “Fake Sites”.

    But i used the Torrent from here. Any clue ?

    – set date on your computer to before Feb 28 2016
    – run “Kindred Spirits.exe”
    – new hidden exe will be created (“KindredSpirits.exe” with no space)
    – copy the hidden exe and unhide it (“KindredSpirits – Copy.exe”)
    – close game (this will delete “KindredSpirits.exe”)
    – rename the copy

    Now the new exe should open without changing the date. You can delete the old one that gave the error message.

    I’ve downloaded the torrent and done what this person ^^ said but it’s just black no picture.. there’s sound and the conversation but eh

    Changed the date
    Changed the file name deleting the space
    Opened it so that the error sign would come up
    Renamed the file again back to Kindred Spirits.exe
    worked

    Or use runandate.exe software, set the date and make shortcut, work fine

    I changed the files and the game opened, but the screen turned black.

    The crack was stolen frm IGG-Games.com, apparently the.url and README.txt they provide are necisseraly for running the game without changing the date
