I intalled it and it soesn’t work! I get a messege about a crash report as soon as I try to start the game! Please help!!!
Sapir, I had the same problem. I’ve solved it this way:
1) Complete uninstall of Dreamfall Chapters (only leave a copy of book one savedgames)
2) Install again
3) Don’t use the crack in Fairlight folder, just run the game with the “Dreamfall Chapters.exe” from the installation
This way the game run perfect with previous savedgames and all

Hi, I have one question! Months ago I downloaded Book I and now I wan to play the second, so to continue the game with my previous saves and choices how do I do it? Do I have to uninstall the game and just keep the save files? then install the game again with the Book 2 included and paste the save files on it or…. what?

Kiwi, you doesn’t lose your saves when you uninstall first one. You just install Book Two, and saves automatically are loaded from Book One, even if you uninstalled Book One.Saves are located at %APPDATA%\RedThreadGames\DreamfallChapters\

the other chapters are not out yet.
it’s gonna be a few months until the next one, sadly. but it’s worth the wait. eventually i’ll buy the whole thing as well. can’t afford it right now, though.

Thanks for your advise, it worked to me!
Most problems are solved by:
1. Running the game exe as administrator.
2. Installing all books in different folders. When you are gonna install book 2 it chooses automatically the same folder as book 1 is installed in. Change it to Dreamfall Chapters2 for example.
Can anyone HELP ME? I already played all the 3 chapters but recently I had to format my computer so I loose everything and now the problem is that I can’t play book two! Here we are: I reinstalled Book One FLT from here and it does work good, ok. But after installed Book Two FLT, the game crashes at start – reporting me an error without descriptions or detail!
Ps. I already tryed to do what FLORIS and EZEQUIEL suggest for solving these problems but nothing to do and i’m getting mad because previously I’ve normally installed and played all these! Can’t understand why now does not work. PLEASE, help me 🙁 🙁 🙁 …
