you have the “_CommonRedist” directory .
if the game don’t start ,you must install some update .
just one thing , to start the game without errors.
you must look in the game install, you have a “_CommonRedist” directory.
and some soft to install.
still won’t start game after install _commonredist.
it says “Falta el archivo MSVCP120.dll”

If you couldnt start the game after u installed everything.Just try to launch the game from Dark-Win64-shipping.exe it is at Dark-Binaries-Win64 folder

***********ATTENTION***********
For all of those having the 0xc0000007b error code from the dark-win64-shipping.exe.
I have found a fix… worked for me!
Step one== Install everything from the C: Program files (x86)/ alone in the dark illumination / _commonRedist Folder both x86 and x64. Try and run the game after…
If that does not work like it did not for me…
Step two== Go into your computer/control panel/ uninstall/change programs list. Find the Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 12.0.30501 both x86 and x64 versions. Simply right click on them and select change, when the menu pops up hit repair on both of them… Voila. Problem solved for me. Also make sure that your steam_api , steam_api64.CDX, and steam_api64.dll from the CODEX folder found in the iso image are put into the correct path (c:programfiles(x86)/Alone in the Dark/Engine/Binaries/ThirdParty/Steamworks/Steamv130/Win64) Good Luck and HAVE FUN!

Game won’t run! It is just a crash simulator. I tried running the redist and repair and no dice. This game insta-crashes whenever I attempt to run it and there is no solution for me. A waste of download data.
