I’ve once played Ys on a PSP and it was alright, but this is downright insulting.

Tales of Berseria’s story is garbage and it’s MC is trash. If it weren’t for the other party members I wouldn’t have tolerated the entire game.
As for the Ys games you’ve played, they used a different engine for Ys seven and made a large change to the mechanics of the game.

The Launcher wont save my configuration. Game always starts in too big of a resolution. Is there a fix?

I wonder if this has anything to do with Denuvo. I got to a certain point in the game on Ruins Island, and the buttons for the skills got messed up for one Dogi’s character/character slot. I notice it happened with that forest brat too, so I don’t know if it has anything to do with that character slot in particular. I haven’t tried all characters yet.
What happens: If you set at skill, it will show up on of the other skill slots. Ie. if you set it for controller button X, it will show up for B or A.
Don’t know if this is a game glitch and I am now screwed, or if this is Denuvo, so if anyone knows how to fix this, PLEASE let me know!!
for anyone having problems with resolution, run the launcher as Administrator and change settings, save+launch and it should be okay. If not try changing read-only settings.
Another thing about the resolution is that no matter what you set the resolution to, the buttons on the first menu screen will forever be cut off on the right side. As long as your resolution is set to the right resolution for your monitor and you can read all of the text, you’re okay. That’s not an error, the home screen was designed to look that way.
I have same problem with input too, my problem is I cant attack and dodge. Im in mid-game stage. The game works perfectly before i kill the bird boss which is on the wind temple. Anyone know how to fix this? I cant play now ….
