This series is not about button mashing, its about controlling the map and anticipating where your enemy or the mission will take you next. You can think of this series as an RTS where you are only in charge of one unit. Also, dont forget the sweet, sweet Japanese rock, although it might not be present in this installment.
Oh, also, this not related to this game, but people on youtube are so desperate for money that they will just talk trash about some unknown game just for the views and then delete the video before anyone can call them out on it. (Remember the complaints about Cross Tag’s DLC?) or how people are saying the Kill La Kill game is just a Storm Rip-Off, bet you those videos wont be around at release.

I’ve always been a big fan of dynasty warrior/samurai warriors/ warrior orochi series. So I’m downloading it now.
HOWEVER !!!!
It’s a tecmo koei game, and they SUCK at making pc games. Last few times they made ports instead of games and they were crap. I’m betting this game runs pretty badly with bugs here and there. But still, I love this kind of games.

Oh wow, Warriors Orochi 4 did make it to PC. Guess Tecmo/Koei doesn’t care about all the pathetic “omg y not 343843 FPS?” kids and still wants to have PC presence other than the half-baked random-anime-here spinoffs they’ve made lately.
Orochi 1 and 2 were awesome for their time, hope this one is up to par with Samurai Warriors 4-II and DW 9 in terms of actual quality (in 60 FPS, the most you need unless you’re a snobby little “pro gamer.”)
At first I thought this was going to be a trash port as normal but tbh this one runs so good it shocked me… I’ve played roughly 10 hours so far with almost no issues, only thing I’ve noticed is a fps drop when you get roughly 150 mobs on screen then use the bow skill that auto targets everyone in sight but it only lasts a few seconds.

“Hoodlum” lives up to its name, delivering a broken installation, most likely by the rather unwise choice of some pirate groups to “compress” their releases without really using compression – adding an extra step to the installation process, and an extra chance for it to go wrong, for no real gain.
Oh well, just have to wait for an actual group that knows how to do it. Wasn’t expecting to play this game on PC at all, so waiting may be worth it.

Its nice its still clunky laggy gameplay but atleast no free roam mode and theres actually magic so its making game more interesting.
if they still keep the shitty quest that require you to go from one side to another side of the map without carring about thousand millions of enemy just for trying to save an npc who get rekt in a seconde and when you reach it you are surrounded by the thousand millions of soldiers and general that beat the shit out of you instantly….

So ive installed the game (succesfully i think) however when i launch the game from its shortcut nothing happens..
Ive ran the game as administrator and reinstalled it but still no luck. Nothing loads up and im just staring at my desktop.

Setup.exe is a malware Gen:Variant.Razy, It mines some cryptocurrency when activated, I don’t know if it mines it during the setup, or mines it secretly long as possible. If you installed this game, do a virus checkup.

Best Warriors game yet,honestly havent this much fun in warriors since..like DW6 i think.Magic+tagteam mechanics works really well,enabling to do really cool combos(and unlike dw 9 you need to press much more than 2 buttons to do infinite combo)

Setup.exe gets flagged as a virus
Just a quick note guys for anyone having installation issues.
First of all disable ya antivirus, it marks alot of torrents (not just this one) as containing viruses, only disable it for the installation you can re enable it after you’re done.
Now extract the .rar file to a new folder (ive made mine on the desktop and called in Warriors Orochi 4 Installation files). Once that’s done, right click the setup.exe and run it as administrator otherwise it wont install.
For some reason the installer doesnt work fully (for me anyway) and it messes up copying the crack and creating an uninstaller. Only select the create desktop shortcut check box.
Let set up run and dont change the default directory on the installer once its done go back to the folder where you extracted the orginal .rar file and go into the hoodlum folder. There you will find two files. One is a settings/config file called HLM and the other is the steam_api64.dll (this is the crack)
manually copy both these files over to where you installed the game and when asked if you want to replace/overwrite then select yes.
Now go run the game and it should work fine 🙂
lve downloaded this version from another site but its the same release cant even load the setup…, now lve just downloaded from corepacks where theynot only have the best compressed/instalation performance ratio on the internet, they check and make their own installers so there is no way taht at least you will not have feedback from them if something doesnt work.Which almost never happens to anyone that is not a total noob . so check them out. I was afraid of another Koei Tecmo Musou Game with bad controller support, well… I played about 30 hours and I am very satisfied with this port, good camera control, good frame per seconds, good characters, good gameplay, good new features (magic and deification). Thanks for the game, too bad there is no DLC included, but that’s not a problem, now that I know the game is very good before buying I think I will buy it with the season pass.
