   Does this game works for you guys? Its now the second day, played yesterday and the day before, everytime I wanna load I get this msg:the client is shutting down due to file errors” and then something about verify game data.

   almost finished chapter 1 dont wanna restart again over and over again. :/

   Thanks for the game.
   How do I start offline mode ?, I installed and put the crack that came with it, and it doesn’t leave the login screen.
   Any idea? did anyone really play?

    I been playing fine for about 2 days now but now it says “Client is shutting down due to file errors” blah blah blah pretty much,asking me to update the game and run integrity check. I’ve already tried unistall and install the game again but nothing, still error.

    @Dante: Do not worry. The saves folder is in the exact same location as the game’s exe file/inside it’s bin folder. So make sure you keep that folder somewhere safe before you delete the game. They probably need to update and crack the game again and for us to download.

    @Dante ~Upon further trial and error with reinstalling and such, I’ve sadly found out that the fault is within our save files. Or at least my problem was there. No matter how much I tried to load my save, it’s would keep giving me error. But with clean re-installation of game and creating new game/company, the game worked-I am able to play, albeit have to do everything from start…Oh well.

    @Carlito I’ve reinstalled several times now.. started the game new few times now.. but I dont wanna restart over and over again. I wanna advance the story. :/
    what do you mean by “clean re-installation”, I deinstalled completly and reinstalled it.

    Yes i had to restart the game too. By clean reinstallation, I meant to not try and use my corrupted save folder. I don’t know if this is the issue/bug of game itself or of the crack they done to game.

    1- Copy Troubleshooter bin/saves folder to somewhere.
    2- Delete everything in the Troubleshooter bin/saves folder, then start the game.
    3- You will have no profile, so start a New Company. Skip everything, no need to play, and this is important: Return to the Title Menu.
    4- Alt-tab to where you saved the folder and just copy game.sav to the new Troubleshooter bin/saves.
    5- Select Continue on the Title Menu.

    thank you very much for the effort of putting this workaround tristar it saved me 17hrs of gameplay i appreciate the effort so much and i would like to credit and thank yuri69 aswell!

    How do you cop^y the game.sav while the game is still running ?

    I have tried following your instructions, but when I try to copy the game.sav over the new company one (after returning to main title), I can’t because the file is locked by the exe :-/

    PS: Ran into the same corrupted save issue, with same error message.

    I have the same issue like Spip im doing what Tristar said but I cant play my save 🙁 , the save dont oversave the new company cause the game is running obv .

    It worked for me, just quit to title as soon as the tutorial mission begins, then replace the game.sav file and only this file forget about everything else.

    Finally worked !

    Strangely enough, it didn’t work before because I was using a Norton Commander type program, with two panes (source / target). And that program kept the file handle open, preventing from overwriting the game.sav.

    Using two native Win Explorer windows open, it allowed to “Copy and Replace” the game.sav.

    Pfew.
    Saved a full day of playing ^^
    PS: So basically, try and find out if you could have a program keeping a handle open, it could also be for instance an antivirus program, an indexer program…

    Troubleshooter_lsv application is using the file u cant delete it or replace it……….any ideas????

    @s You don’t need to delete or rename old file. Just copy and past old game.sav without changing it’s name.

    Will this version also get the newest update? I mean the dev is often updating this game, do we have to download new update everytime by uninstall and reinstall the game or this game doesn’t include latest update form the dev? thanks
