after starting the steamclient_loader.exe only the question about the firewall appears, regardless of whether I allow it or not, the game does not start.
Just restart your PC. Worked for me.

It doesn’t start. But it’s not because of the GOLDBERG version, after I loaded it somewhere else the game works.
Try to launch it on Windows 8 compatibility mode. It works for me.

It works if you have Steam opened in the background. In game menu it displays as Offline so i think its safe. Pretty lazy crack i think but it works as of now…

How can I play it with friends online ?
Right click steamclient_loader.exe,–> properties –> compatability. run in compatability mode with windows 8 and run as admin checked then game launches.

you need to run steamclient_loader.exe in the binaries directory, not the quarry.exe
Who have problem running the Game do this:
Right Click on the steamclient_loader.exe
Select “Properties”
Go to “Compatibility” Tap
Run this program as “Windows 8”
most probably is Windows 11 issue.
Also, you can try to add this line to ColdClientLoader.ini :
ExeCommandLine=-dx12

If the game does not start, just rename the Folder.
Named it just “Quarry” and moved it to Root Folder so the Path looks like this: D:\Quarry

Hello guys , game runs fine but it was in dx11 so i have opened The Quarry\SMG026\Binaries\Win64 ColdClientLoader.ini and added ExeCommandLine=-dx12 and now it runs in dx 12 hope it helps . Have a good day !!!
I don’t think the game was meant to be played in dx12 though. It runs horribly with many artifacts. Plus, i checked youtubers and they all play it in dx11

Yeah, that did the trick with my system too. No Steam or any compatibility option needed. Windows 10, Rtx 2070s. Lame crack but it works eventually… Of course people run the game with ”steamclient_loader.exe” don’t forget!
So many dumb peeps on here. Why do half of you even bother pirating games when you haven’t got 1 brain cell between you.
…Only problem for me is that there is no legit way to remove black borders up and down. There is a mod Supermassive Games Border Remover v1.2 or v1.4 but the game crashes frequently. No big deal. I am getting used with the ”’cinematic feeling and i played half the game till now without any problem! Great game especially for free. Maybe if it was half the price, but definitely not full priced…

Para quem quer tirar o Motion Blur: Abra o console no jogo com o programa IGCSClient (Pesquise como usa-lo no Google) e digite “r.MotionBlurQuality 0” (sem as aspas) e dê um Enter, dá pra tirar até as tarjas pretas e melhorar a iluminação do jogo com mais algumas opções do IGCSClient.
