english patch doesnt work? well didnt for me and i tried it afew times ;/ maybe i done something wrong
It worked fine for me. it’s in the iINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.txt file.
BUT after that you also need to copy 2 files from
“”NISA Eng Patch (Tutorial textures misaligned and font looks shitty but otherwise works)””
paste also in kuro no kiseki directory, then it woks

Kuro 2 is a big letdown compared to Kuro 1
guss the english patch is not working because it needs an installation of the game in traditionnal chinese, while this release comes installed in japanese

For those who want to use saves game from CLE release, just copy content about save from
C:\Users\\Saved Games\CLE\Kuro_no_Kiseki\savedata
then copy to
C:\Users\\Saved Games\FALCOM\Kuro
OBS.: Afaik the DLC are not compatibly between releases, at least some of them, maybe because this crack doesn’t have DLC cracked yet or whatever, anyway if you have a save with DLC used on CLE release, probably won’t work on this release.
You may wait and see if someone(Goldberg most likely) will release again with DLCs cracked too

Start a new game plus on CLE release, DON’T USE ANY DLC save the game as soon as possible than copy this save to new release. (This is what i did it worked fine)

Talking simulator.
1. To translate the game, extract the eng patch (NISA version) inside the game folder, then move the eng_patch.p3a file over to the p3a_tool, it will open and close a CMD and the game will be fully translated.
2. Older version of the patch had a crash whenever you try to buy Items, it is fixed now. Unless they didn’t update the MEGA link, search for it on 4Chan Falcom General
3. If your game is stuttering, try to turn Assets something to Off on game options.
Enjoy, I’ve tested the game and it’s working better while using higher resolutions. This port is amazing.

1. Why is the file’s structure different than the one in here: https://www.skidrowreloaded.com/the-legend-of-heroes-kuro-no-kiseki-build-9473672/. For example, the exe name in this release is “kuro.exe” while the other has “ed9.exe”.
2. Why upload this release since it’s ALSO not English supported and NO DLC?
3. Which one is better? This release or the other in build-9473672?

(you can only just download the NISA Eng Patch Folder)
What you need to do is :
1. First is extract the Game and find the file “script.p3a” (the file size is around 17mb) in the game directory and delete it.
2. Then go to English Patch Folder that you already downloaded from the link, open NISA eng patch and copy ENGPATCH.p3a file to Kuro No Kiseki game directory.
3. Rename the ENGPATCH.p3a to script.p3a and drag it to p3a_tool.exe
and you done.
