Another huge update, thanks skidrow. I hope this one isn’t broken. Last one almost bricked my game. Well, it did brick my game and I had to find a different version of the update myself. Hopefully this one is fine.

This is exactly what i was afraid of, what version of the game did you have? this update is meant for the p2p version of the game. were you running version 1.04.1- p2p?

For anyone who downloaded this patch: after applying it, just open the torrent file of the full version, uncheck “start now” and click ok. Right click and enter options, on files tab rename the main directory to your installation directory, apply. Then right click and set location to your installation directory. Then right click and verify local files and then you’ll only need to download for a few minutes. (Note: I’m using transmission app but most apps support this).

each update forces you to have to download the entire game again, whether it is a P2P version or a CS version, since the updates of both versions are not compatible with each other and they are not offered correlatively, but are “skipped”. in version 1.0.4.1… I’m sick of downloading this game and wasting whole afternoons with updates that break the game.
The update work but i get random crashes so that’s that..

That’s a good question, usually it’s written in the directions which version the uodate is good for, but this one makes no mention.
You could either download this update, backup your game, and try it for yourself – you could boot up the patch and see if it will recognize your game version as valid, or it’ll say you’re running an invalid version and the patch can’t continue
Or you could just download the whole game version 1.0.5.0, that way you can be 100% sure you’ll have the most recent update for your game.
Granted the whole game isn’t that much larger than this patch – 77gbs vs 38gbs.
You can always just download patch, see if it’ll run with your version, if your version is invalid then it won’t even let you use the patch anyways.

UPDATE: fixed it ! Turns out this error was coming because I hadn’t installed the game with all the available languages. Once I installed the game again with all the available languages, it updated with no errors. I tried deleting the language files from the update and tried as well, but it still showed the same error. So, so far, I don’t know any other way to fix this error.
Do you have the v1.4.1? Keep it. This v1.5.0 update doesnt work fot most people, including for me. It crashes the game a lot, and this not happens with the v1.4.1.
