   BTW, save files are located in Documents -> My Games -> Binding of Isaac Repentance/Afterbirth/Afterbirth+, they’re the persistentgamedata.dat files

    I know where my afterbirth + save files were, but where do i put them in the repentance folder? If i put them on repentance documents nothing happens. and even if i delete the documents folder it still saves some things as if the save folder is in other place

    When i extract the files and i install the game, when i open it, it opens the Steam and it basically doesn’t work. What should i do about that?

    FOR YOUR SAVE:

    1.Fist run your OLD AB+ in ADMIN (right clic run as admin) and resume your run, close AB+
    2.Go to your OLD AB+ folder/OfflineStorage/”USER”/remote
    3. rename apb_gamestate1.dat to rep_gamestate1.bat and apb_persitentgamedata1.dat to rep_persitentgamedata1
    (the number is your save state 1, 2 or 3)
    4. go to C:/user/public/document (or public document)/steam/codex/250900/remote
    5. paste and replace wtih the two previously rename file

    game stops responding as soon as i launch it and freezes with a blank screen, anyone had this issue? I deleted all my afterbirth and afterbirth+ stuff i had in user/Documents/My Games and it still wont work

    I have a ton fuck of files in ab+ folder, which files do I transfer to the repentance folder in order to import save files? I tried marta’s solution but didn’t work for me. Maybe anyone could link or send me their save files from ab+ already renamed to repentance? I would be grateful

    Doesn’t seem to work. Getting the same white screen freeze when launching the game. Cracked and everything. Probably missing some sort of VC Redist or something. I have them updated as far as I can tell.

    I cant unlock any achievements, i got the locked cup icon. Any ideas why this is? Also i seem to be getting random purple icons under the map and i think it has something to do with this

    To anyone having the issue of the game crashing on start with a white screen try disabling your antivirus it worked for me.

    Marta’s solution is great, but i had to change the “options.ini” to make the saves work, in particular,I changed the voice “SteamCloud=1” to “SteamCloud=0”.
    I hope this helps.
