Closes itself after I see the Unity logo 🙁
Right click the downloaded folder with all of the files of the game and
un-check the box that say read only files, apply and close, should work.
In short the files are read only so they are not working to make it work make the files NOT read only
I right click on the folder -> ‘Properties’ and I uncheck ‘Attributes: Read-only (Only applies to files in folder)’ -> Apply
Still drops me back to desktop when I run it. Funny side note: Immediately after I apply non-read-only and check properties again it is back to read-only! WTF Microsoft…
I also tried
attrib -r “Starship EVO”\*.* /s
on command line – still same outcome
dont work is scam virus
Worked fine for me.. right clicked folder and took off read only. Did same for the folder just before all the files. Then right clicked and ran as admin for first run.. loaded fine. Actually better than old versions.
