Hi, We hope you enjoy this game. As a tiny company with zero budget, it’s nice to get some distribution via skidrow reloaded and other sites to put the product out there. There has been thousands of personal hours of mine that have gone into this project and I hope that if any of you enjoy the game, that you would please donate via a steam purchase. The money will go straight back into developing the next title and producing better quality products with a budget. If this is what we can do without a budget, then we can only get better with one. Hi RaWiL, there is a VR version of the game called CDF Starfighter VR (which is also available on this site I believe). It’s not a complete game yet and has no campaign as we sidetracked development to get a single player non-VR campaign made that could play on Xbox. There will be more development on the VR game in time but right now we will be bugfixing the singleplayer as more people discover the bugs we didn’t have the money to find.
not working , black screen
I can’t map my axis controls to my mouse. When ever i do it shows my axis then reverts back to the xbox controller axis. How can i map the axis controls to my mouse? I wanted to test this game out before i shelled 20 USD at it but this is literally a bug thats causing the game to be unplayable for me.
Is this console controller only?? I can’t see the option for mouse and keyboard, also it seem the intro cinematic doesn’t play when start up the game. Is it a bug?

Keeps crashing and i very rarely experience problems even less so when it’s a problem with my machine..

(1) – Is this the FULL version of the game or a sample version with
limitations and only a smaller part of the real game.
(2) – The version on this site is 5.2GB. On another Skidrow-Reloaded
site the same game is 4.3GB. This is a 1 GB diifference.
So what is the difference in this version ?? Same or differnt ??

Hi, it’s possible that the early access version got uploaded, which would be indicated by a smaller filesize. A lot of work went into the game in the last couple of months in regards to campaign content.

Yeah sorry you can’t map the mouse to the axis in this version. It was designed for controller and intended platform being the xbox. The PC release was more of a testground to maybe help fund some development for the game and get some feedback. However the Steam verion has updates that have fixed this issue but I understand if you wanted to test it for free first. You could try it and refund if needed.
It cant be played with keyboard, mouse or joystick, also in custom controls I cant asign default controls, it is assumed that I have gamepad I can only asign second priority controls.
There must be some fix for that… can someone do anything about that please !!
Oh nice, I LOVED all the Wing Commander games! This style of dog fighter type and a good story line, cant beat that!

what type of developer releases a game for pc with no mouse support, thanks for the heads up, almost wasted money on steam.

a keayboard-maping fix has been provided.
In addition, another Skidrow-Reloaded site has the
game and the Patch-Fix available for free download
but if I provide the link here it will be deleted, so search
for it and find it.

Thanks bro. A lot of my colleagues not fans of the demo scene lol. Im not a fan of rip-off companies so its a fair trade. I bought more games through demos via skidrow and codex than any other method so I don’t immediately dismiss piracy from greed.
MO– USE BIND ISSUE.
I know the lack of mouse/kb binds was an issue but there will be a fix on steam to make the mouse binding work as of today hopefully. The fix has been made but it needs to be implemented in the packaged build for steam release, which takes a little time.
