I too can confirm this works with RUNE version!
1. Make sure you select you game folder (where Starfield.exe) is located
2. It will ask if the folder is correct, let it do it’s thing
3. Pick RUNE version
4. Recommend: Verifying files too

Is it ok also for elamigos version? Should be the same …right?
Yes it works with elamigos version, because they used RUNE version of game.
It doesn’t work with the Repack version. I download the file, istall it, choose either the 1st or the 2nd crack version, but none of them seem to work. I open the game annd it still shows the old version. Any ideas? Thanks!

I have the RUNE first release here and did the update :
my game won’t even start now.
I had the DLSS and inventory UI mods, removed them. Re-did the update , f*cked up everything : several corrupted / missing files.
Complet reinstall of the game + 1.7.29 patch install
-> file verification : only some weird logos
-> game works fine
Broke my Rune install.
.exe now flashes the screen and don’t open the game anymore.

A quick heads up, boys and girls! Starfield are planning on adding DLSS, HDR calibration and a FOV slider to the game!
Google “will Starfield add DLSS” for more information.

To those unsuccessful updating the game, make sure you delete the DLSS mods if you had any installed in your game directory before attempt to update the game, and backup your save files first, then select CODEX/RUNE crack within the installer if you are using the 1 September game uploaded here by RUNE. I’ve done all that and mine have successfully updated and game works just fine as before. Thank you.

Does this include the founders edition stuff and DLC or do i have to get the founders edition and install that over my standard game?
hmm maybe i’m not patient enough but the update just does not seem to be finalizing/finishing….message: “finalizing installation this may take several minutes” ….and checked game version seems to the right one …so idk why..:-(
i closed the process from task manager crossed fingers booted the game AND. it’s worked! version number has changed so i know, still no idea why the update tool didn’t self close upon completion..

Works nicely thanks. Just update all your mods before hand, or remove them, and then put them back on. I just updated all my mods and updated and it worked fine. The worst part was finding a download mirror amongst all the scam sites above, that was the worst part!
My antivirus showed its a malware, I deleted the file, finished the installation but ruined the game files! Thank god i backup them! (RUNE version)
