Something is wrong. At the end of the update , during the “finalizing the update” procedure, it delete some files. So during the check some files results corrupted or missing . The game do not start anymore. I don’t know why it delete some of the file that come patched.

For those crying loosing their saves. They’re on a different folder, not lost. It depends on the user used as RUNE, FLT, CODEX, etc.

Update is final, no longer beta.
“.cdx” files are the original files in case if need for them, like for xdelta patch or whatever.
Only rename the files if needed.

change the language to english 🙁
To change language, open the “steam_emu.ini” file and look for the language setting in there.
Change it to your preferred language.
Alternatively you could use the language.changer.exe made for the rune crack.

Place files in Starfield main folder, run language.changer.exe, choose language and then click play.
Best option though is to make a language setting in …/Documents/My Games/Starfield/StarfieldCustom.ini.
This way you will be able to set a language that won’t be affected by a changed steam_emu.ini.
If you don’t have StarfieldCustom.ini, create it by renaming a .txt file and add to it:

sLanguage=en
Change “en” to your preferred language code.

fr = French

es = Spanish (Spain)

I’m using the last RUNE too … No. It do not work and delete some patched file at the end of the update process making the game not functioning. Then you have to reinstall the whole game. Saved game do not go lost luckily.
Instead the last update of @Gloomy with not exe but with just the files it work with the RUNE edition too. And it keep the saved games intact. At the end of unzip the files are near 14GB. tnx Gloomy !
Ok so i try to download update only patch or crack by elamigos it says by rapidcrc unicode program thath 131 files are checked and 116x files ok and 5x files corrupt and 10x files not found i think this patch or crack for version 1.8.86 is not working and before version 1.7.36 is patch is working good so i needed to roll back to 1.7.36 if anyone wanna try out patch

Latest patch bby EIAmigos doesn’t work. Saved games are still in docs>saved games>starfield in case anyone is scared the update won’t work.

You need to copy the files in Crack folder over into Starfield main folder and replace the files in there.
