Put the US discussion about woke movement aside for a moment. Star Trek takes place in a future where an united earth exists and put all their efforts to mutually head into space. Its logical to display this, from russians, chinese, arabs, europeans of all kinds, africans to south americans are all represented. The woman is Bajoran, she is not human and its fun to see the story from her perspective. I never had the impression that it was a forced diversity as in Star Trek Discovery which, i must admit, have the diversity displayed to really force the agenda. This game is old school Star Trek, it would be a shame if its suffers from New Treks bad series and LBTQQUERZUEZ-whatever-movement motivations.

The game was originally an Epic Games Store exclusive and released in May 2023.
The 23 May 2024 release is for Steam, as the game is not exclusive to Epic Games any more.
