   Im outraged and triggered. Why havent they replaced a straight white male lead for Serious Sam. i would have preferred if they changed him to a black man or at least made him a woman.

    @xammy if you were being sarcastic, then good one.

    But if you were being serious (no pun intended) then idk how the fck to answer this (because i fear anything i say will “trigger” you).

    Firstly, the name of the game is Serious Sam. The main character, Sam, is a middle aged caucasian with a body builder physique that does one thing and one thing only: mows down wave after wave of monsters and then keeps doing it over and over again. That’s what he was doing in the previous game in the series and so did Duke Nukem in his game series. It’s what the game is about; angry dude grabs a gun and mows down monsters/aliens/demons because that’s exactly what the ppl that bought the game want to do. They don’t care why the main character is not being presented in a politically correct fashion.

    Second, the best way to bury a franchise is to start catering to a group of individuals that do not belong with your main core audience, fulfilling more and more ridiculous demands such as gender equality, political correctness or pointless features such as “realistic” beauty standards. And then you have a dumpster fire of a failure like Mass Effect Andromeda, where the developers made the mistake of implementing fixes based on a list of grievances coming from “The Anita Sarkesian” cult following and associates. It resulted in the gay sht that Andromeda is today and the closing of a promising studio, not to mention the fact that it was all for nothing. And to add insult to injury, most of the social justice warriors that made the complains and the grievances about the beta of the game, didn’t even bother to purchase the game on full release. They just giggled away because they got to play a game for free before release and then ruin it and the studio that worked so hard to try and appease them, only to be abandoned to ruin in the end.

    So please, if you will, take your stupid political correctness and leave our beloved franchise alone. We don’t need your kind to spoil this one too.

    Why? Because some of us were born before 2006 and grew up playing these “old games” so it brings back pleasant memories of our childhoods not all of us like to sit around playing CoD or Zombie games all-day
