OR start PowerShell in administrator and write the command: certutil -addstore trustpeople D: Games update_SeaofThieves_2.103.908.2 Microsoft.SeaofThieves_2.103.908.2_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe.cer (change destination if you have it on another disk)
4. Run Install.bat or SoT.bat which is located in the game folder.
5. Launching the game from the Start menu.

TRASH wonder itrs not shutdown or just cancelled cause thats it.
Does it really work? Has anyone tested it?
i tested it but it says (version mismatch) require an update through xbox and it does not work
but i am on win 11 so i dont know if it works on win 10 or the same

steps to follow:
in powershell terminal run as administrator run the following commands:
Show-WindowsDeveloperLicenseRegistration
Activate the “Programmer mode” tab.
Get-WindowsDeveloperLicense
Remember once installed to disable the programmer mode again using the command:
Unregister-WindowsDeveloperLicense
