   Hard to think, with all the money the series makes, they can’t pull a good game. They have the lore, the locations, everything set to be a game of the year, yet they release this half ass game, and i don’t even want to remember the telltale series, that was worse than kick to the balls. Imagine a witcher 3 with the setting of game of thrones, or even a skyrim with the janky mecanics, it would still be a game of the year to me

   @Charles this won’t happen. Too many money to spend for a licensed product. The serie will end waaay before the game release in 2026 /2027 if they start today.
   Except Scamthesda et HypeProject, who do you want to make it ? Ubi ? EA ? A class C dev with endless early access ?
   The best solution will be a overhaul skyrim mod.

   What confuses me is that Game of Thrones is a multimillion dollar franchise,why would they allow an indie developer the rights to the IP? I’d expect them to give the IP to a big crappy company like EA, like how Disney does with Star Wars. Though of course that’d be awful too.

    Game is very good basing on some tests,but i don’t like Game of thrones the serial,but i take anyway for the case one day i will like it AH AH AH !!!! or even not a good game is a good game never mind THX super PLAZA.

    Burnham is relevant and as a great name.

    Answer: when you have a great produce on one medium/media, there’s a risk it’ll lose its fame if there is another successfull medium of it.

    Even if the hard fan base would have been pleased (10% of the audience), a “master piece video games AAA” could disturb the rest of the audience & its view on the show.

    Just before the final season of the cow, it would have been suicidal to milk another fiction of it.

    Maybe in few years…

    instead of calling names try to add something positive to the argument, and you’re telling me they don’t have the resources to pull it up? I’m pretty sure there’s a sea of developers waiting for an oportunity like that. It doesn’t have to be bugthesda or EA, there’s a lot of good triple A companies that could do it ( like guerrilla games or cd project )
    But @rezan is right it would take a lot of time, and that would affect on the sales or whatever, but who knows maybe in the future well see something pop up.

    Charles, Game of Thrones will never have the story or depth of character of the Witcher saga. Also, Telltale made masterpieces out of overestimated shit multiple times, but not everyone has the capacity to appreciate games as art. You basically want the same game over and over? I think it’s more interesting to get a different experience with each game.

    If you entered waiting for a strategy game and came across this shit there, but still want a strategy game with a game of thrones experience, play the excellent game “Crusader Kings 2” with the mod “AGOT” (A Game of Thrones mod).

    @guizo damn i remember that mod, played it for a bit back in 2013 i think , good times.

    Btw i’m not a demon (had to clear that one out), but that dude having my name backwards was kinda funny.
