I can’t access to the DLC. Normally, there is a radio message at the exit of a city who activates the quest, but I have nothing. It require a save with the first mission activated of the DLC. Someone has one? Thanks a lot !
How do I access the DLC content? I can only choose New Game, New Game + and Iron Mode. Where is the option for Rise of the Ghosts?

Ahhh colruyt55000 old buddy, sometimes downloading the whole game again is a very good thing.
previously I had the original Codex release, the hotfix plus update 1 and update 2 … altogether 47 gig. it would take a long time to install cos 3 installs .. the updates are slow.
now I have the whole game in one iso . it’s a much quicker all-in-one install and only 37 gig. i can save 10 gig drive space.

To unlock dlc go to your install folder, open steam_emu.ini and change DLCUnlockall=0 to DLCUnlockall=1

Why it wont run with previous CODEX saves? it works just wont get that distress call thats all… ( kinda important if you ask me since its new part of campaign)

Well I just added 1067981=RAGE 2 – Rise of the Ghosts and restarted the game and now it works. I don’t know if it was the line or just starting over that did it, but anyway it’s working now. Thanks again
Itsa in Main rage2 directory Steam_emu.ini. Under all dlcs add this line and it activates DLC.

So i manage to to start that dlc with DLCUnlock=1 but now when i saved keenan it don’t show in projects help.
I don’t know what all the haters are bitching about. This game is fucking awesome–it’s like DOOM meets Just Cause and anybody that doesn’t like that is obviously more suited for games like Candy Crush and Clash of Clans… 🙂

Works fine thanks. For all those that cant seem to access the DLC just go to a town, have a walk round, get in car and drive out of the town boundary. You should then get the radio call for help. Another thing that took me a while to suss out is that when you remove the wingstick you need to press G to get it to cut the chain.
Just to add… I never changed any text just installed then ran it and it worked ,and it even picked up my previous codex saves.
Idk why but i don’t have keenan in “Project” and this is kinda bad.
hello, i did the fisrt mission, but when it finished, no new mission appears, no signal in the map, i dont know how i can reacj the new area of the map
DLC dont work. Change file steam_emu does not help. Anyone have ideas?
If you’re having trouble getting the distress call then try this:
Go to Wellspring, park outside Rustys & make a save. Exit the game. Add the line like Kruger said but leave DLCUnlockall=0. Start the game & load the Wellspring save you made. Drive out of Wellspring & the call should start just before you drive under the sign. If you don’t get the distress call then restart the game, load the Wellspring save & try again. Once you get the distress call the game will autosave but make another save after she stops talking anyway.
I experimented with it a bit & it worked the first few times I tried it but then it stopped working so I closed the game, checked the ini file, started the game again & tried again .. after a couple of goes it worked again. Don’t know if this will help anyone but it worked for me.
No distress call even after half hour. Seems itsa bugged for most people.
Audio when talking to characters is bugged for me, any fixes?

You should be at Sunrise Oak Ark to begin the DLC with all weapons, powers, ammo, upgrades, shitloads of money & feltrite. Instructions are in the archive. If you have any questions then ask here I will check over the next few days. Hope this can help some1.

Thx man it now start but i got one more problem after i saved “keenan” i don;t have him in ” project” could u give saved wher u have already unlocked it much appreciated ?
Matrixx, I didn’t have him in project either. After talking to him at the Metro & the project screen popped up, he just wasn’t there. I went back to Wellspring, talked to Mayor Loosum & did the mission under Wellspring to get the tank. After this it opened her in the project screen (Capture & Control). Later I went back to the Overgrown City, did the ecopod, looked around a bit & made a save at the beginning of Bendring Ark then went to sleep. Now today Keenan IS in my project menu “Reclaim & Rebuild”.
When I went back to the main map (Wellspring) from the Overgrown City I took a save & later loaded it but the game put me back in the Overgrown City. All the saves had me back at the OC exit door so I had to do it all in one go with no saves: Talk to Loosum, talk to the fat guy & do the tank mission, open Capture & Control, drive around until Loosum called me back then went & talked to her & opened the Twin Falls mission THEN I went back to Overgrown City … all in one play no saves. Now today I load my save at Bendring Ark & Keenan Reclaim & Rebuild is in Projects … everything is good :))
I don’t know if going back to Wellspring made a difference or not; maybe just doing stuff in the Overgrown City will open it anyway … I just told you what I did so if Keenan doesn’t open for you, you can do the same. If it still doesn’t open for you later like it did for me then let me know; I’ll upload another save but I think it will open for you like it did with me.
I thought I better save the file so it didn’t get overwritten then once I isolated it I thought might as well upload the little bugger lol. So after my big explanation here it is anyway.

I think it would have eventually shown up in your Projects anyway but if you have trouble or just can’t be bothered you can use this save: Only the ecopod has been done; everything else is ready to go.

Don’t know if anyone is still around but some weird shit I’ve noticed:
With this version of the game I keep losing smart micro rockets … they just keep disappearing whether I use any or not. I max them to 20 but next thing they are 17, 16 or 13 … just gone!
Sometimes Keenan will disappear from the Projects menu … stop/starting the game seems to get him back again tho. Just upgrade all his stuff & forget about him I think.
After you clear a location of enemies you leave but if you come back for any reason they will be there like at the start again … this can be a real bastard cos you’re not expecting it & they will pound the shit out of you and you have to do the fight all over again.
I don’t know if it’s all that important to have him in the Projects menu. As long as he’s talking to you & guiding you to your next objective & you’re getting credit for doing his jobs then you can still play through. The only thing you will miss are his updates: there are only 4 & mostly nothing much. Standing on feltrite vents gives a little bit of health, autopilot for the Phoenix, stop for Overdrive & Overdrive Multiplyer X5 increase. Only the last one is at all important but you still can play I think.

Buttley you were great help but i could say this DLC is short and big dissapointment… its like part of game you would be happy even if dont play theres only few things which is good. BFG of course Mech and new enemies they were tought.
Also, god you really into complenthism, because you madeall bases in orginal game. It was nice try some weapons but it was like cheat for me + there were cheats. I would rather had my save. Also yopu havent finish storyline… i dunno how maybe you were doing everything but a Story, kinda hate kind of persons but whatever.
Yeah that’s what I meant about it being an awkward shitty ‘fix’ … someone else’s save is a completely screwed around game from your own.
First I played through the whole game as the girl on easy … really took my time & did everything like 5 days worth lol. Second I played through as the dude on normal, still did everything. Then there was update which gave New Game + so 3rd playthrough was NG+ on hard (prestige 1) & had done most stuff when i made the savegames lol. Still not finished. Very rare for me to find a game I really like so when I do I play the fuck out of it lmao. Never used any cheats … never even once saw the wizard guy even though I looked for him. This page dl is deluxe edition which gives BFG, access to Death God Cavern & some kinda cheats in the Settings menu (still haven’t tried).
Bummer for you lads if you can’t play the DLC but maybe there will be another update which will fix things for you although you’ll probably just end up playing something else.
Oh ok, i only finished once moved to another its weird i did finished all bases in Just cause3 but here nope…
Guys, I made it work at last!!!
Key was to not “continue” game but to “load” the manual save (made in Oasis in my case) from main menu.
I added following line to ini file:
1067981=RAGE 2 – Rise of the Ghosts
while leaving this in default state:
DLCUnlockall=0

Where did you exactly add this line? Please be more specific. Under “all dlc” is not precise…
There is a section [DLC] (second last at the bottom of the ini file). Within this section there already is a list of DLCs following the pattern ID=Name. Just add the line as an entry – probably position does not matter.

Does it has to do with the fact that I have visited that location before. It was just a parking lot with vendor machine?

This cracked version isn’t working properly
tbh im doubtful theres any dlc in this download,if you do a file search nothing comes up about any “rise of ghosts” file,absolutly nothing,not a single reference to to any dlc at all.
theres no txt files no install files,no uninstall files relating to any dlc.
ive played the basic game all way through now,tried everything but it still doesnt activate any dlc,theres not spces for more guns in my menus,no mention of anything in projects.
also the “notes” box at top of screen in here doesnt mention any dlc either.
tbh original game is enough for me,ive seen youtubes and it all goes a bit farcry5 in the dlc so im not missing much i reckon,i fucking hated fc5.
I finished the DLC last night and it’s a great addition to the game… I enjoyed it immensely! I did all locations so I can assure you this download works (for some people at least). The DLC (Reclaim & Rebuild) will sometimes show in your menu, sometimes not; it can disappear any time but restarting the game often will get it back. Just wait until it DOES show then get the four upgrades, after that it doesn’t matter whether it shows or not. The ghosts take a bit of blasting to kill & the final battle with Iris will test your skills but I loved every minute.
@gogogo .. I can’t see any similarity to any of the Far Cry games (I have them all but don’t like & don’t play). This DLC certainly IS present in this download & follows the same overall pattern as the rest of the game … damn excellent fun!

perhaps its region specific or something to do with win7,who knows,i ve tried new starts in every mode inc ironman ,nothing,theyre all the same the main game works smooth n nice and theres zero sign of any dlc.. 🙁
uninstalling it today lol,was good fun driving about shooting stuff but when you killed the final bad guy nothing changes,all the npcs act just the same,as though you were never there.its just respawning hell again n again.
Previous to this I had the original game with update 1 & 2. I uninstalled using Revo which removed any stray registry entries & I made sure to keep my savegames. I installed this version & all my saves were there. I got all the Deluxe version stuff straight away but it took me a couple of tries to get the voice message to start the DLC. So I’m saying do a nice clean install & don’t give up too easily if you don’t get the voice message first time. I have old Win 10 & keep it very clean.

im going to uninstall it i think,doesnt want to work for me at all lol,,its very boring replaying it over n over now,nothing new or hidden comes out in the NG+ or ironman modes(in fact the game always first installs with ironman already going,possibly that thats fkd it all up.
plenty more out there to play,n ive still got fo4 and a plethrora of mods installed should i get bored.

Nope, this is not working. I have finished all “side quests” and missions (all is gray) and still no activation. Also I have tried all above combinations, even uninstalling and reinstalling game.
I seriously doubt that there is activation of this DLC in cracked version for most people – I am not saying anyone that have activated it is lying or something but I have red on other sites that this issue is present and no “cure” was found whatsoever.
Game is enjoyable once you get hang of it and it would be nice if this was working…
Maybe all that have got a activation could describe their settings or something that was not common for most of people.
Those hints like “walk around of town…” or “any trade town” or similar are not helping getting solution…
yeah bethesda is fixing something in peoples “saves”,so we would need a before and after save to see whats different i think.
