has anyone able to build coaster and terrain editing? i can’t even place entrance and exit path snapping to the main road. The coaster, the shop and terrain editing seem to be locked.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
You actually CAN build coasters in this version, they are just deactivated by default.
To activate the coaster building menu go into “rides”, click on the small magnifying glass icon (top right) and type “underconstruction” (all lowercase) into the search bar and press Enter. Once done, you will notice that the coaster building is active and working.

Yes, all fixes just install Microsoft Visual c++ 2015 and it will work. Other errors remember game requires Win7 64-bit.
Game experiences lag because it is in somewhat of Alpha; that is inevitable. If you have a good rig it still runs pretty good; just lower the rez and put quality setting at like Medium and it plays great.

at first i had the VCRUNTIME140. error so i downloaded c++ microsoft visual 2015. but after that when i run planet coaster it comes up with an error massage saying an unknown error has occurred. AND yes i do have windows 7 64-bit. so if any one finds a fix please tell me.

Try running the game as admin. If that’s not working then try redownloading the game, you prolly have something else going on.

Have you even bothered reading the other comments?! Instal Microsoft Visual c++ 2015 and that will install that DLL for you then run the game.

Roller Coaster: Desactived!!!!
For those having the “UNKOWN ERROR” problem I can probably add a solution for some people.
The game perfectly worked for me at first, then I put the resolution to 3840*2160 although my native is 1920*1080, still okay.
Then, I went to my GTX 960 graphic settings and put all the options to default (so it deactivated the DSR option), and when I tried to launch the game it put me the unknown error box.
So I put my GTX settings back to personnalized (with DSR and everything in ultra quality) and the game worked again.
So it’s surely about a GPU issue. You should try to change your personnal GPU options by activating the DSR for those having it for example.

Another thing to try, go into your computers language settings (Control Panel > Language > English > English UK) download the English UK version and apply it. That might also help you.
