controller wont work for me either
the hacked version isn’t working because the game use Steam api for the controller to work.
The only avaible option yet is to use a keybord… or to make the game think it is the case, like using JoyToKey (use this one, updated and made for free, not like Xpadder who is bullshit old crap)
Becarefull to take it on official website ! that why i say JoyToKey > Xpadder, because free version of Xpadder are “fake” or modified, and totaly not safe because his Dev sell it 10$ in a very weird way…
(sending an email, then loggin on a website where everything is close to not working and asking you to pay with paypal without buyer protection…like if you gived money to your familly)

@Steven Thanks Steven, but with this fix the game come back to english even if in your “steam_emu.ini” you set another language. You would know how to fix this problem?

Regarding Language Change:
Default save location: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Goldberg SteamEmu Saves\
In the settings folder in that save location you will find (if you have used the emulator at least once = mean start game with the FIX i provide in top at least once):
account_name.txt (Edit this file to change your name)
language.txt (Edit this to change the language the emulator will report to the game, default is english, it must be a valid steam language name or the game might have weird behaviour (list provided at the end of this readme))

I’ve been using it for over 7 years without any problems on any game. Over 10 hours of Ni no Kuni already using it and I haven’t touched the keyboard for anything. Just bind the keys correctly and you’re good to go.

This fix for the gamepad can works with other games? I want play Tales of Vesperia with x360ce but is imposible, the only way to play is with a Xbox one controller but x360 doesn’t work.
And with this fix is possible play Ni No Kuni Remastered with x360ce
The question is Can I play Tales of Zestiria with x360ce with this fix?

@jony para cambiar el idioma vete a usuarios/tu nombre/appdata/roaming/Goldberg/ y ahí cambias el idioma donde ponga lenguaje, si no te ha aclarado mi mensaje busca uno previo que lo explica

good work guys can play in french and controller with Golberg fix .If you don t find Goldberg folder in roaming you got to launch one time the game and quit ,the folder will appear in roaming!

tu copie les fichier goldberg que tu as téléchargé dans le repertoire du jeu C:\program files\Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered ensuite tu lance le jeu jusqu a l ecran titre et tu quitte.
ensuite menu démarrer tu tape %appdata% et clique sur roaming tu devrait trouver un dossier goldberg emu saves et dans settings tu peux changer la langue bon jeu!

Can Anyone upload the crack folder please? I tried installing the PROPER version of the crack and my game won’t even load anymore. I don’t really wanna go through 27GB of downloading for only the crack folder…

At first, my Xbox 360 controller did not work, but downloading the files from MR_Goldberg and following the steps to fix the game, it already works perfectly.

Hey guys so i downloaded the PROPER version and the game works fine untill i get to move around. The game just freezes for like 20 seconds (including music) and then works again but 2 seconds later the game just freezes again. Is it because i downloaded the PROPER version? Please help i really want to play this game
FIX REGARDING LANGUAGE PROBLEMS:
Go to the desktop icon and then follow the next steps:
1) Right click on it and then choose “Properties”
2) On the window that pops up after step 1, choose “Open File Location”
3) On the folder that opened after step 2, open the file steam_api.ini with a notepad
4) Look for the option that says “Language=english”
5) Change the word “english” to your desired language (for example, if you want the game in spanish, that line of text should be something like this: Language=spanish).
6) Save the changes and close everything.
7) Enjoy the game!

hey i have the language controller problem i installed the goldberg fix and already launched the game and made a save. But i cant find a folder on C:// Users which is called roaming or goldberg i scanned the whole pc i just can find old appdata folders which are not the right ones
