Create your own nation in Millennia, a historical turn-based 4X game that challenges your strategic prowess across 10,000 years of history, from the dawn of humanity to our possible futures.
Title: Millennia
Genre: Simulation, Strategy
Release Date: 26 Mar, 2024
terrible UI, like it’s made for kids.
played for about 3 hours.
very basic.
the idea is probably ok but you don’t know what resources you’re getting and what industries process which resources.
the AI is dumb.
you can’t just expand, it’s slow.
you have main town, vasalls which you integrate to become part of your main landmass.
the game becomes slow after a while, despite me having more RAM than some of the visitor of this stie have C: drive space left, that’s not even an exaggeration.
The curiosity of it is seeing what comes after the Age of Plague and where it ends and what buildings I’ll be able to build.
When that’s done I doubt I’ll play it again.
Having tried it for a while, I’m glad I didn’t buy it. It’s fun for a little bit, but I think that’s just the Civ nostalgia talking. As other’s said, UI is awful.
Resource management is poorly put together.
Ai is EXTREMELY dumb.
I played until the 8th age when you get the factions governments and they were too scared to put facism into the game.
I have a decent computer and was feeling lag by the 4th age.
The game is pushed as a “Your choices change history”, but the choices are very lacking.
I’ll try it again when the first DLC comes out, but for now, I’d barely be willing to spend 20$ let alone the 40$ they’re asking for.
took 2 mins lol
Yeah, I know it’d be fast, but I was betting on 2pm EST
The wait for it to actually be uploaded xD I just wanna try it before buying, I made the mistake of preordering Vic 3
yeah, crack’em all, pity that money they lose don’t go to independent small true game developers
fast as light.
tyvm
Sid Meier’s Civilization, but it’s… Actually, it’s just a clone of Civilization with no originality or effort put into it.
