I had already disabled regular antivirus, but deathravens kind words prompted me to take another look at my AV. You might also try deleting the save game and config folder located at %LOCALAPPDATA%\MGSDelta. I doubt that this had any effect, but i tried both fixes at the same time so I can’t say for sure which did the trick.
