You are a detective who decides to visit your late father’s cabin, which he has left you, somewhere in the woods of northern Sweden. But everything is not what it seems. Determined to find out what drove your father to spend his final months in isolation in the cabin, you set out to investigate.
Hurray another bland walking simulator. Its everything I have ever wanted and more, so my life is now complete and im going to go kill myself. Bye bye.
Other than LA Noire, which was good except for the feck awful car driving physics, which madeeven GTA look like a quality sim, anyway i’m still mf waiting for a decent quality detective game since nearly 30 years ago…..when US Gold’s Murder was released,,, with it’s millions of possible conbinations and many suspects as well as open gameplay……what do I/we have to do, for someone to develop a game better than that?, too much of a challenge for it to be better than a 30 year old game….?
Despite being just another walking sim, this one caught my attention and I decided to give it a try, since in the trailers/screenshots it looked very pretty, you can use guns and there’s a dog companion.
Don’t bother. Game is terribly unoptimized and will barely reach 30 fps at lowest settings (which make it look like a PS2 game) on a GTX 1080. At high settings framerate becomes so low that the game is unplayable. Also, it’s full of glitches, such as the first person camera not being properly aligned, making you able to see inside of your character’s head and his eyeballs (pretty creepy actually).
Games like this one, Generation Zero and a few others are making me become very wary whenever I know a game’s developer is Swedish, seems like almost all games Swedes make are terribly unoptimized and buggy.
Mah lawd what a crap.
