Tl;dr version: tried it and have to say there’s still work to be done.
More details: The concept is quite realistic, considering the type of soil for what crops, and have to build well above underground water, all is good.
The most basic building material is not registered correctly, making construction planning very unintuitive. I have around 100 wood laying around, but the system registered 0, making not able to lay down any construction. This is a huge set back as your entire work force is extremely limited at the beginning, and without any labor all your jobs are stalled.
Good concepts and ideas, more work need to be done to carry it out.
