   Game looks good. For people squawking about the gaming performance try these tips from fellow Steamers:

   TIP 1:
   Having issues with performance?

   Change both Reflection & Global Illumination quality to Medium.

   On settings High and above, the game introduces Ray Tracing.

   TIP 2:
   Important PSA:
   Make sure to download the latest Nvidia driver (if you have an RTX/GTX graphics card) before you try to play the game. It went from unplayable 20 FPS with lots of stutters to mostly rock-solid 60 FPS for me.
   Toggling on Nvidia DLSS and setting it to “Quality” + sharpness at 0.50 also helped.

   Good game so far. Coop works flawlessly, but performance definitely needs some fine-tuning. Will update this review once I’ve gotten further.

   EDIT: It’s been brought to my attention that Nvidia DLSS is causing issues for some people. If that’s the case for you, I’d recommend turning it off. Simple as that.

   Also, it turns out that the “seamless coop” mode is only “seamless” in the sense that it lets players join your game easily. The host is the only one who gets to keep any actual progress, plus it places a lot of restrictions on the joining player (less currency gain from killing mobs, fewer item pickups, no interacting with the game world like opening doors and gates, etc.)

   Because of this, I’ve made the decision to add this edit to my original review, and also apply for a refund of the game. This is not because the game itself is inherently bad (it isn’t, I had a lot of fun with it in the couple hours I played and so the review stays positive) but the coop mode was THE reason I bought it, and also a huge selling point used in the marketing. So for it to be this stripped-down is quite frankly inexcusable, bordering on false marketing, because they never disclosed any of these restrictions prior to launch.

   If you want a single-player soulslike game, it’s honestly not a bad pick. But if you want a coop soulslike game (which this one was marketed as) then I’m afraid… this just ain’t it chief.

   Downloading this since I’m assuming its the update and tbh while its not as bad as some Steam reviews claim this game could defo use some work. Cheers for the added stability, GoldBerg and Skidrow!!!! >;D

   the game works until a certain time after crashing

   Every time I restart the game this is it. Play for about 5 minutes and it crashes

    So now it has not only become the “new normal” every second game release has become an unplayable difficult souls-like bullshit, and the next souls-like and the next souls-like and the next souls-like and the next souls-like…. hell even Alan Wake 2, Frostpunk 2, The Last of Us 3 and Flight Simulator 2024 are planned to become the next souls-likes with 275 minutes long boss-fights (but not sure, not confirmed yet!)…….

    …… but now I also have to install EASY ANTISHIT ANTICHEAT because these souls-like bullshits clones – released almost monthly since five years – now dare to tell me, singleplayer and on my own private machine, that I am not allowed to cheat? And I have to play these unbearable difficult and only frustrating souls-like shits from now on without any Fling-Trainer or any other cheats?

    HAHAHAHAHA XD the world truly has now fully gone to shit.
    Denuvo + Easy Anticheat are the new curse.
    Hell is near, the End is nigh…. 😀

    But still thank you very much for all your effort and all your releases.
    Has prevented me to make a big mistake and buy this game (because I like Witcher 3 and dark fantasy and monster hunting and stuff, and I already thought about buying it… but playing a souls-like without cheats is impossible.)

    Good morning my fellow inmates on planet hell, to start the game in a correct way and get rid of the Easy Anticheat message you first put the content of _crack into the game folder, and launch the game with the .exe from
    E:\Lords.of.the.Fallen.Deluxe.Edition-InsaneRamZes\LOTF2\Binaries\Win64\ LOTF2-Win64-Shipping.exe

    just go in the easy anticheat file and delete all the files besides the settings.json and splash screen files
