The first video game to feature fist fighting was Heavyweight Champ in 1976, every game after was a variation of this game. just like every game out there it started from one made years ago, some have evolved a bit better graphics etc, some have kept to very similar appearance and styles. You could say every game out there is a rip off from another game, but thats how games evolve. Take a simple boxing game add some other for of fighting then you end up with the same game but in a different style and looks.
