but on chapter, 2, after the talk with Chian and Neptune return the prototype sword, the screen stay black after Ganache dialogue…

I have the same problem as Jordan Lee
for the people having problems like “unable to initialize steam libraries” the way to fix this is easy you should crack the game and thats it,but seriously talking i think nobody tested this because after finishing the first battle ingame more specific the tutorial battle the game crash.
I have tried all in my hand i installed the game 10 times in each of my both computers and no solution and the game is running as admin,i have win 7 64 bit ultimate in my gaming laptop and no luck until the moment so i dont know if this has something hidden in the executable or is just

I was able to play the first time without problems. But when I played again, it does not work and the “Unable to initialize steam libraries” error just pops out. I think my situation’s the same with Jordan Lee’s. Anyone knows how to fix this?
when i play it the whole thing is dark but i can still see stuff but the contrast is dark there are times when it becomes bright and back to is normal lighting anyone know how to fix it?
For the “Unable to initialize steam libraries” error simply go to CODEX in the installation file, copy all the stuff in it and paste it in the location where you installed your game.
Remove if I’m posting in the wrong place. I’m not sure where to comment on this. Can you please release a patch that will change the default save directory for Hyperdimension Neptunia ReBirth 1 to be the same as the one in ReBirth 2 by CODEX?
My PC can read the dir but can’t load the files from it for some reason. It’s currently saved in “Documents\My Games\Idea Factory International, Inc\Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1” and due to the special characters from this directory, I can’t seem to access my saves.
I’m also having a problem with the screen being really dark most of the time as well as it crashing after the tutorial battle. Does anyone know how to fix these problems?
For those still having trouble w/ constant game crashing…
Right-click on the .exe file or the shortcut. Click on properties and find compatibility. Put a check mark on the “Run this program in compatibility mode for” and find Windows XP service pack 3. Also check on “run this program as an administrator” and click apply. If there are no other problems, you’ll have less to no crashes afterwards.
I fix the problem for the people who got : Unable to initialize steam libraries
1 Go to : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ Click on a game that you have,
2 Find the Steam_appid of the game
3 Copy it
4 Paste it in the HyperNeptunia Re;Birth 1 files
5 Replace it
6 Enjoy
