Hi, I got the same, my av just keeps deleting that file after I add it as exception, open the mounted image and there is the folder EMP just copy paste it to the game folder

Stuck during the tutorial after learning lumos when Professor Fig cast some spells, video plays and he casts DEPULSO, before everything freezes.
Tried reloading older save, restarting computer, drivers updated, etc.
Have the exact same issue – game always stops responding when Fig casts Depulso. Tried updating the drivers, lowering the game detail to low, turning off motion blur, film grain etc. changed paging file size in Windows settings… nothing worked so far.

The latest update was never cracked and this one is the new update but using the same old crack empress did. So crashes or freezing is bound to occur eventually.

Should have post warning that this is a frankenstein build and was never really meant for playing, that’s why people are experiencing crashes. The latest 10678877 update also has a new denuvo that needs to be crack again. Eventhough hogwarts legacy with the 10678877 update will still run with the old empress crack, the new denuvo is still bound to crash the game at some point making this version quite useless.

Again. Crashing is caused by new set of denuvo in the 10678877 update which was never removed in this build version. The old empress crack only allows you to play hogwarts legacy, but you will still be stuck in some parts of the game and won’t be able to progress any further because of denuvo. Go back to an older repack or wait for a newer crack from empress.
I use the older repack with first Frankenbuild 1121649 still works fine no crash or relevant bugs/glitches

The fix is to play the older repacks since this one has still has denuvo enabled hence the crashing.
