The game is frozen when starting “hitman_ca.exe” runs, but does not pass the home screen.
For those who have issues with controller maybe you can try motioninjoy with any pad and tell him use it as an xbox controller. Hope that works cya! Thnx for game.

Thank you so much for this. I really appreciate it. My favorite game series. I’ve already preordered the game. So I do support the developers – IO Interactive. I was more than happy to give them my $60 for the full game on December 8. But I just couldn’t wait to get my hands on this alpha. Fantastic so far. Just one thing I noticed though: There isn’t any way to choose your load-out gear at the beginning. The game just starts automatically with 47 on the red carpet. In my inventory, I only have a few coins and my fiber wire. However in the leaked videos, people playing have the briefcase and poison.
I downloaded and played… not perfect but will do
a controlled needs to be attached to start playing but you can still play with keyboard when controller is ATTACHED
no Menu and settings as you can guess its pre-release and Alpha!
straight into the game… press F1 to reduce graphical issues
i dont really like it this way deleting and waiting for the RELOADED/SCIDROW/BB crack

I’d like to know the same thing as Sean^, if there’s a way to choose a loadout before you start.
Game runs for me on Win7, I prefer the controller too for a Hitman game so plays good for me. Just a note to everyone, as has already been mentioned this is an ALPHA release so it is extremely buggy. I have a great rig that could definitely run this game as a finished product, but I am only getting a constant 24-30fps during gameplay; sometimes it might shoot up to 40fps…..in the menus and the map screen however I’m getting a full 60fps….so game definitely needs a lot more optimization. As much as I’ve played though the game looks very promising– very close to a enhanced version of Blood Money, which is what we’ve been asking for. This alpha has some shader rendering issues in the file system so you always get a constant error message at the bottom of the screen and there is a DX11 console always running on the top of the screen so it can be quite annoying. Also, game can sometimes crash at certain times when using certain weapons; all-in-all though this game looks like it could be very entertaining when it’s finished.

You are right in that there is no title menu, but there is a preferences screen to change a few graphical setting……hit start go to options then hit RB to switch to graphic settings.
it puts you straight into a map. you can use keyboard (gamepad not required regardless of what people are saying). there is no option menu of any kind except you can use keys 1 trough 9 to switch beteween different debug modes. i was only able to play it for a couple of minutes when it froze on me. i dont recommend downloading this. it seems to be purely for developer use.

Did someone try to use xbox 360 joypad(software) to emule an other controller?
I’m sad to way this but, seems like this crack is infected with a virus. After downloading and extracting the game I ran it, and of course it runs really bad because my computer is below the requirments. Then I ran a scan with Malwarebytes and it kept cancelling it. The only timr I’ve had that is when I have been infected. I am right now running a scan with Avast! which apparently wasn’t affected. I will come back here to see if it originates from this torrent. If you spam Enter fast enough, you can move with WASD, the game accept it just fine.. What kinda bullshit is this? Why controller request then if it can work with WASD? lol

Which file to tweek to remove the controller warning? As I have notice I can move 47 with keyboard and mouse but that warning stops me from playing. Pressing 3 in the f1 menu only removes the apparent warning but it still runs in background so you cant remove it. So anyway to remove the warning?

Hello People i see much writing about this version here but is this the full game or what? And should i just exctract only ort one and then click on hitman.exe or what someone plesse respond and one thing more it is like stuck on loading screen from beginning someone?
Xbox or ps3 controller needed, not a big deal — I never play pc games with keyboard and mouse anyway. Download “motioninjoy” and install drivers and after that just use “better ds3 tool” so you don’t have to install drivers over and over again.

Works for me in windows 8.1 but it’s laggy as hell.. needs high graphic card i play it in low performance and still laggy!! i don’t recommend to download this even if you have a good specs!!
