All these people bitching about the size, i’m so glad i live in the UK where i can get Telephone (inc. line rental and calls to landline and mobiles), cable tv and 300 meg unlimited internet and the price is just under £100 a month. ISPs in the America rip their own customers off by limiting speed and data usage and your own government is letting them get away with it, in fact i wouldn’t be supprised if they were taking bribes. i’m not saying UK is perfect far from it but at least our isp’s tend to look after there customers.

@Catcher40 .. 100 quid a month is expensive. I have 400 Mb/s unlimited for 720 baht (22USD) a month. For 825 baht (26USD) per month I can have 1 Gb/s unlimited. Thai internet is excellent!
In Australia internet is slow, expensive & limited monthly dl caps .. the people are getting butt-fucked by the government & the main telecom company & the sheeple let them get away with it.
it makes me laugh that people criticize this game, maybe they don’t even know it comes from 2000 and it was one of the first first person shooters with a worthy physical and graphic engine.

I got a trojan alert from the mcclauncher.exe on the crack folder, double checked it and it is definitely not a false positive.

No inicia el juego. en administrador de tareas esta el exe solo 7MB. Pero remplazando codex64.dll y steam_api64.dll por los de la version 1 del crack codex. ya inicia el juego y muestra Halo CE pero no descarga los archivos faltantes y no se puede jugar. alguna solución que alguien tenga o pueda preguntar a CODEX.
It does not start the game. In task manager is the exe only 7MB. But replacing codex64.dll and steam_api64.dll with those of version 1 of the crack codex. It already starts the game and shows Halo CE but does not download the missing files and cannot be played. Any solution that someone has or can ask CODEX. (Sorry translate by google.)

I also have the same problem as listed by @Dev and @claus above…The game doesn’t not start at all….The process is visible in the TASK MANAGER,, but the game doesn’t launch…

Yes, put a folder to your exclusion in your anti virus and copy the crack folder to it.
Usually it’s a hoax virus stuff, safe to copy crack and overwrite

@Joshua Because only Halo Reach and Halo 1 were released so far. You have to wait around for Nanosoft to finally release the rest of the Halo franchise on pc… like they were supposed to do in the first place.
ok fixed the win7 advapi32 problem…just download “Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3080149) and install it,,its quite slow to install 😉 ..itll all run smooth as fk then 🙂

Initially the game doesn’t open because dll files aren’t installed. After doing that, the pc either detects a trojan with the mcclauncher.exe file or if I try to launch mccwin64.exe (the file for halo 1), it fails to start correctly (some 0xc00007 error)
