Nice. Tried getting this from several other sites but very low to no seeders, about 1-2. Almost seemed like no one was seeding or leeching because this game was neither not cracked or protected by Denuvo. One DL was actually a fake. That is why everyone should try installing on a virtual machine first, not your gaming rig. But nice to see SR finally came through! Can’t wait to try before buying. Hopefully good as they say and better than the first 🙂

You clearly never played Frostpunk. It’s a city management game more similar to SimCity than The Sims. The environment is your enemy because the cold keeps getting worse and it’s a race against time to search for resources and upgrade your facilities to keep your city and its citizens from freezing. The last stage especially is one of the most thrilling final moments from any game ever where temperature drops to inhuman levels and you have to hold on with everything you got. It’s a great game and I hope they keep that thrilling aspect in the sequel.

Update: FP2 is a resource monster. 4080rtx maxed at 100% and only getting 27 FPS on native rendering. Coolant temp hit 39c. . . .rare. Also, looks a bit different from the first, only that, it’s impossible to tell which buildings are what. Everything is clustered together. Looks confusing and ugly. And it’s already kind of difficult to understand how to play this game. First time having to read a tutorial for any game. Maybe they went too far to try to impress :/

The first was epic, since it was possible see people struggling while walking to destinations. It was more personal. In this version, there are no people. Just flashes that look like car lights on a highway at night. Also, everything is instant, and objects magically appear to start building. Would rather play Infection Free Zone. . . . . .

City builders, grand strategy game (starring at a map) and similar genres are played more by people with a higher education. So, perhaps you are correct, its impossible that you ever understand whats exciting about it. There is, however, one more thing we can try:
1-) Please, go to C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\11bitstudios\Frostpunk2\Steam\Saved\Config\Windows
2-) Open “Game” file
3-) In the line “IntSetting[10]” change “Current=2” for “Current=1″
4-) Save
This should effectively change the Upscaling setting in-game.
I hope it will fix yours as well.

Its really amazing, worth the “2” every bit. It just improves on every bit from the last game. The scale is just amazing for the scenario. I’m talking thousands of people, you’d be lucky to have 2000 in the story mode in the original.
You also get to have faction politics and VOTES to pass laws. You also build entire neighbourhoods instead of 1 house or industrial building, which makes it easier even though you can still add specialised buildings in each sector.
Exploration is also scaled up but i haven’t played around with it much. It’s clearly beta and missing many features but im definitely buying this. A proper sequel, scaled up on every level, don’t listen to retarded edgelords in the comments, it’s simply the first frostpunk but on a bigger scale with new mechanics as well as old ones.
