Had the same problem. Fixed it. Far Cry 4 had the same problem. Download this file and put it in the game directory. Works Perfectly

Actually, I am having a bit of trouble getting my controller to work in the game. I got past it somehow by using Moonlight on my laptop to stream from my desktop that I am playing on with Nvidia Game Shield and plugging my controller into the laptop. It’s weird, but it works.

when downloading the game just before it finishes it asks everyone to make sure that thier common restr is up to date. all mine are up to date but the game is still not working. is it possible SKIDROW could please check the install directions again since so many people are having the very same problem?

This game is an utter piece of shit. It was cracked poorly, and after you get it running with the cert file you have to click on an error message 5 times before it will run, and then gamepad support is shit. Waste of fucking time.
