   Just delete the previous the folder of the game and just launch this one , the save will continue in this one

   I have played the online version (from this website) and now after transferring the save files (otherwise it only showed start new game), it shows game initialization error #7 and doesn’t load. Is there a way to fix it?

    For those who want to take their old save from a previous version all you have to do is:

    Go to C: > Users > (YOUR USERNAME) > AppData > LocalLow >Gameloft > Disney Dreamlight Valley……. Inside that folder you will see a folder that looks like (steam_76561199767689400_r) If you have more than one that means you most likely have tried different versions of the game. Copy that whole folder that coincides with your main save and put it in documents before starting the new updated version of the game. Pass all the intro stuff until it gets to a save point. Exit the game and go back into your save location and the new save will create a new folder like (steam_76561199767689450_r) go inside that folder and delete its contents. Go to documents or wherever you saved your original save before starting the new game. Copy its contents to new save location. The names have to match so if for some reason the name (steam_76561199767689450_r) has changed to a different number like (steam_76561199767689455_r) than you want to copy your document original save into that new folder. Then start the game again and you’ll have continue pop up. You should be back in your OG game save.

    i got error #7 when first loading up so i removed my save file as recommended and re-launched now the game just loads forever until the loading bar gets about 98% full and then it will just sit there forever and never load in. Any reccomendations to fix this issue?
    I can’t even go back to the previous version as it seems launching the latest version updated my savefile in some way and now it wont work with the older versions of the game.

    Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Can any of you complete the first Scar mission? I’m stuck when you have to put the sugar and drink in the barrel. When I approach it, nothing happens, there’s no interaction..?
