It’s one of the best remakes of all time, up there with RE4, probably even better as it adds great gameplay ideas and removes bad ones.
One old hag and gender neutral bathroom doesn’t ruin the whole game. They added amazing replay ability, outstanding sound and visuals, got rid of the bad stuff and it all worked out, they tried to insert one or two tiny woke elements that are easily modded out, and they paid the price for it by all losing their jobs. Couldn’t have turned out better, imo.

After testing the NewGame+ save file,
the game froze and crashed upon completing the purchase of the Tie 6 armour at the first shop.
It took loading the save file three times before the game could proceed normally.
