I am having a controller issue with my xbox 360 pad. Using the left stick causes cause it to stick whichever direction I press.
startup_setting.exe doesn’t run, so there is no way to create a DOA5LR.ini file needed to manage setting external to the game. I.E. No resolutions/full screen, etc.

Got it to work after the settings fix, I just put the crack game exe and the steam files into the main file with the settings fixed and it worked. Although I can’t get full screen mode and its running at half speed? Anyone have this problem/know why? I have a i54670k and a 970

Can someone please help, game runs fine. But after little opening sequence that has waves i just am given the screen where it says the game saves automatically and to press A (on controller) or M (on keyboard) to continue. and i plugged in controller made sure it worked in other game, then open DOA5 and it doesn’t work, and keyboard doesn’t work either. I can’t get past that screen, PLEASE HELP!
SOLUTION TO EVERYONE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE GAME NOT GOING FULL SCREEN.
Use the .bat files to get to the settings menu, and to launch the game.
1. Run the “startup_setting.bat” file.
2. Configure the settings however the heck you want.
3. Run the “game.bat” file. (Do NOT run the game.exe file. If you do, the game will only run in a windowed mode at the default resolution)

I’m also having the error where the game freezes after the intro video on the auto-save prompt. I’ve downloaded the ISO from two different sources and have tried using the settings fix, and am still encountering the issue. (Those the new settings do properly apply.)

Managed to get it working fullscreen but not by using the .bat but rather by changing the config file.
Now my question is…where are screenshots saved? In photo mode you can save pictures and usually this would send them to the steam folder in program files (and screenshot gallery in the steam overlay) but in this case it doesn’t seem they’re actually saved at all.

How do i open startup_setting? when i double click, nothing happen

ok so, i download the fix open and change the setting(pressed the “ok” button) and launch it with the bat file but its still the same.
Do I copy it to the ” DLC” file? I copied it there and there’s nothing new.
thank you Skidrow. the settings didnt work for me even after downloading the extra file. i could open settings but they wouldnt save. to fix that just edit the .ini config file and set the settings manually.
after that you will want to launch the game using game.bat, not the main application.
create a shortcut of the game.bat to your desktop and download a icon for the game as this doesnt include the icon image and replace the horrible .bat icon with the new one. everything will then appear normal.
dont launch the game as administrator as it doesnt seem to work 🙂
Hello, I got a problem with the game. When it start, at the logo of Team Ninja I hear the sound, but when comes the press start screen, I don’t hear anything, and so for the rest of the game. The voices, hits or soundtrack, is like the amp was disconected.
Some say it’s only stereo, but I’ve already have the sound card configured to stereo, because a use 2.1.
I’ve try to send sound by the graphic card by HDMI into the tv, but is exactly the same, no sound pass the Team Ninja screen.

Some bugs need improve:
X-input Logitech F310: 1. left analog don’t work (use to move camera up and down when a character wins or loses,
2. Start button don’t work so you game to wait till battle finish
Keyboard: No button for left analog
Oh may god the fix really improve frame rate and make the smooth.

If your stuck with the screen that says to press A or M:
Just keep in mind that I have Windows 8.1 running. Other versions of Windows may vary.
1. Go to your Device Settings for Windows.
2. Under Other devices there should only be one controller device.
3. If there are two, delete the generic controller device. (example: HID-compliant game controller)
4. That should solve the issue for some of you.

For those that have a problem with the autosave screen. These step fix the problem for me :
1. go to Devices And Printers (windows 7)
2. There should be HID-compliant game controller, click it
3. open Hardware tab and select HID-compliant game controller, then click properties
4. select Change Settings and go to Driver tab
5. Select Disable
that should fix the problem for you, it seem this problem only affect those who use Razer gaming keyboard, It would seem the game controller conflict with your Razer Keyboard so you need to disable one of them.

hi! I cant get pass from the “Press A/M” screen.. what can I do?
i tried using cheat to unlock everything by pressing n+u+i+o or L1+R1+L2+R2 at option screen. but it doesn’t work. while my friend works. is it because it’s pirated version? since he play steam version one.

@Honoka is mine Shut up you stupid noob. All PCs are different and has their own problems (i.e directx, administrator rights, antivirus etc).
To those who cannot get this to run properly or stuck at some screens, did you actually read and follow the exact instructions..!? Have you check your antivirus or blocked the game.exe with firewall..!? Have you install redist, update your drivers, etc..!? Or perhaps you forgot to configure startup_setting.bat first before running game.bat..!? And don’t forget to run with administrator rights if it still doesn’t work.

Through looking through these comments and messing around a little i have completely figured out how to get it all working (dlc and settings fix). Thanks for all the help! A few tips are: when you install the dlc pack, run the game through the launcher it includes (3dm) and select language through that, open it through that. But you only need to do that 1 time, then go back to using the game.bat so you can have your settings apply.

@Tenzing Did you install the crack? Install it and run with game.bat, run it as admin and turn off your Antivirus because it WILL delete it as a false positive.

the problem autosave screen “press A/M” can be fixed with an emulator for Xbox control called “x360ce” with this my generic control was recognized as a control for Xbox 360 and so could pass that screen and play this game.
Hi, I have a really weird problem. I run the game at 4k res but this will only work in windowed mode.
When i put it on fullscreen with the fix and start it, the screen goes white (blinks a few times like its starting the game over and over) and then eventually i get ” insuffiencent vram error”. This is impossible ! Like i said it runs flawlessy with 4k in windowed mode… When I put the res on 1920×1080 and fullscreen it does work…so why doesn’t it work fullscreen 4k and only 1080P?
Its not my pc obviously so , what could it be? w7-64x thx

Screenshot folder is locked b/c its only something that can be accessed through Steam. Your best option is to screen capture your gameplay using a 3rd party software that takes screenshots

Best fighting game of this generation, I love Kasumi she is perfect and the other girls are good too, nice Gameplay but unfortunately PC version is just a PS3 port and is not compatible with controller vibration yet.

i searched and found that lots of users on youtube or websites, mentioned that they are able to run this DOA5 LR with Intel HD graphics 3000, etc…

Can somebody please help me out? I’ve been playing MR DJ’s Repack of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on PC, and now all of a sudden it refuses to work. I have no idea what to do. I’ve uninstalled it multiple times, with no yielded results. I can’t think of anything that I’m missing. Tried Skidrow’s repack and it’s the same thing, so it has to be something simple.
