How to run this?
@Luke: Easy go to “DNL/Binaries/Win64”
and run “SmartSteamLoader_64.exe”! single player works fine

Actually the game was scrapped in 2000’s because it wasn’t at all what we expected. They recently decided to get on the survival band wagon, and remake the game. The game was alright, until the developers totally changed the game and fucked over the players with harsh afk restictions. Griefers also have destroyed this game. If you don’t play online you may enjoy this game!

i already extracted the file and run DNL.exe in binaries>>win64 folder but nothing happened.
In the settings i can nothing change. Can’t click on anything. It seems also that the courser in the man menu has not the correct position.

gondol try install all vcredist inside commonredist and direct X, open Dark and Light\DNL\Binaries\Win64 – SmartSteamLoader or SmartSteamLoader_x64.
Everytime I close the game and want to play it again I have to click on the SmartSteamLoader and it takes forever to load. Do I have to do this or am I dumb and missing something?

Don’t expect pirated games to play online, ffs. ONLY IF THE RIPPERS CREATE DEDICATED SERVERS. Piracy’s been around for years but people still don’t understand the online part, common sense, people! If you want to play online then buy the game so you can support the developers and you can stop whining about your problems. You’re just leeching yet you complain about a lot of shit, you don’t even contribute to any game devs. The game’s just $15 on steam! Try to spend at least once if you want online multiplayer, if you don’t like it then ask for a refund. Simple.

Hey I have tried to start this game using both SmartSteamLoader and SmartSteamLoader_x64 and it just keeps giving me the message “Unable to find game executable.”
and i have installed everything that i can from the _CommonRedist folder
