Just refunded my purchase on Epic Games Store. The game is terribly unoptimized and still has not fixed the spiking CPU usage and GPU usage dips during firefights and around large bodies of water. Ray tracing effects are also disappointing in that they are unnoticeable but kills your framerate by more than half. I’m using an overclocked 2700 and a 5700XT and using only high settings with result in barely above 60 fps with constant drops. Even the new 3080 cannot run the game at max settings and 60 fps. Better wait for more patches and play something else. It’s just not worth your time now.

I watched Linus running the game today on a fucking…what was it….it was a Turing Titan I think, and then again on a 3080. Neither could hold 60fps.
