   It is possible to use mods, just download them manually. It is, surprisingly, a very easy process

   Finally one that WORKS! You need to drill down and go into the binaries folder of the Crusader Kings III folder. See my path below.

   X:\Crusader.Kings.III.Royal.Edition.v1.9.2.1-P2P\Crusader.Kings.III.Royal.Edition.v1.9.2.1-P2P\Crusader Kings III\binaries\ck3.exe

   It takes a while to load. All DLC active. I don’t know about mods because I don’t care to use them. If i did, I would just buy the game and save the headache.

    For me it crashes both from launcher and the ck3.exe in binaries, anyone also with that problem?

      I had the same Issue. to solve it you have to download the mods from “Sky Mods”. https://catalogue.smods.ru/game/crusader-kings-iii/

    PLEASE READ!

    Edit “launcher-settings.json”
    “distPlatform”: “steam”,
    Change the “steam” to “pdx”

    This will let you Launch the game with dowser.exe AND use mods.
    This is same process for all Paradox games, people.

    CK3.EXE in binaries launch, but DLC do not seem activated, any way to do it?

    Whats with the cracks folder, should we use it?

    Ok solved it by using the codex crack, now with the .exe in binaries, it shows DLC activated

    to fix the crash

    you need to move the game folder to C:\Program Files (x86) that solved it for me

      Does anyone know why this is the case and if so, could they please explain it? I would like to know the mechanics behind why the game must be installed in C: program files (x86) and how that could be changed as I don’t like to run games on my system drive. I have seen games do this before but I have also seen that usually it can be corrected. Someone who knows the answers and is wiser in the ways of the IO please explain! THANKS!!!

    Hello Everyone,I found the solution to enable DLCs is to go the crack file then go to Codex file then go to Binaries then copy the 3 files in it. after that go to the Crusader kings 3 file then Go to Binaries then past the three files in it then launch the game from binaries via .ck3 file you will find that the DLCs are enabled.

    I did it! Than you so much.
    Guys when you install the game with daemon tools the file you open not only has the setup, also has a folder “RUNE” open that folder and you will find 2 fodlers, binaries and game, copy the files of this folders and paste them in CK3 folder, only this way you activate the dlc

      because you’re so stupid that you installed this version of the game instead of the latest which is available in this site and has updated yesterday.
      the games you see in the right sidebar are outdated.
