How to change your nickname?

– Through notebook open file rev.ini

Because thoses servers you are trying to enter are “steam”, I think theres only a few no-steam servers.

i strongly recommend to buy it. its pretty damn cheap and its a game that always is changing, updating and getting new things. i think it has 700.000 players so far. the best purchase ive ever made speaking of video games. period.

OK, so the game installed fine and it works, and i play on community servers because when i go on find game it jsut waits forever and doesnt give me a match. But, thats not the problem. The problem i have is with the m4a1s weapon and skins for other weapons. I select them for my loadout in the inventory and i have them when i play with bots, BUT when i go on a server to play vs other people, i get the standard m4a4, even though the buyer menu says i have the m4a1s equiped. same goes for gun skins, it just shows my regular weapon. Also, when i played a deathmatch game, and there is and option to respawn with a bonus weapon and that weapon was the m4a1s it just wouldnt let me select it, but it works for other bonus weapons. PLEASE let me know if someone knows how to fix this. I really want to play with that gun. in case anyone is wondering, yes i got the standard 4 items when i first opened the game. Maybe the problem is with game files (i mean maybe the m4a1s files are missing), and if thats the case someone pelase tell me where to downlaod those files
guys I really need help with this.. everytime I try to install the game it freeze at de_season map what should I do… and even if I try to copy it to another pc the copy also freeze :/

This is a disappointment, I installed the game right now and I just removed it, the No Internet icon doesn’t work, it gives an error saying “Failed to load swf file”. When I try to launch Counter Strike Global Offensive icon from the desktop it comes up with the Russian language updater that I don’t understand shit about, I launched it and for some minutes it started downloading some files and then vanished, I then discovered that the updater was minimized to the tray icon, I clicked it and a Russian option and I decided to click on it hoping it would bring up the updater having no idea what the hell it is written and my updater was gone. Now I wasn’t sure the updater got quit or finished installing updates. I tried to launch the game from the Counter Strike Global Offensive icon on the desktop again and it gave me a dialogue box in russian language saying I don’t have a clue what!.
to summarize in short, what the hell is it with the russian language and how to change it?
The very first time I installed the game and ran the exe file, it opened . after click on “play with bots'” , i got a message “Steam VAlidation Failed”.. Should Steam be there in my system or not??
they dont even try to fix this. thats a shame. i have been putting comments for several days but no help came from them. i think i should search for another site/ option

if you can’t save the changes you’ve made for rev.ini, just select “Save As” after editing and save it on your desktop, then move the rev.ini from your desktop to the CSGO folder and replace it. 😀
