Is it possible make a version without the need of Steam? I really love this game and I played a lot offline on the old version of CODEX. Maybe TEKONE or RUNE can do the magic?

I am not sure how to make this work, not for single or multiplayer. Any advice would be appreciated.

Crack doesn’t work, tries to connect somewhere online, can’t even start singleplayer.

Not working for me, getting stuck on the main menu with the ‘can’t connect to funcom’ error, and wont let me go anywhere. Tried running as admin from the three different .exe files I found, tried running the funcom.exe and letting it install Spacewar to my steam. Tried running steam with and without having spacewar also running. Spent a good hour or more trying various vague things I found suggested online. Now I give up!
Would very much appreciate any advice, short of paying for the game, to fix it 🙂

Have been using this version for 2 weeks without any issue on single player mode. woke up today with ” steam online service are unresponsive” anybody knows whats the reason for the changes? really dont want to restart from scratch 🙁
