Looks like this game has a lot of performance issues.
everyone knows that this game has performance issues, the developers ranted about it on reddit and also answered other questions. So you can’t complain about low FPS, either when you buy it or after a “free” download. Unless you have an RTX 4090 so don’t expect much from it, maybe when you get into the game menu you’ll be more than satisfied 😀
could release torrent first so we can share the first few bytes and it will speed up.. 😀

Check out the steam reviews folks. 100% will not run on your machine and will have a zillion updates before it becomes playable. Unless of course you have a Treadripper with a 4090 (what it was made on)

Citys Skyline 1 Deluxe is less than 8gb
First CS had 512×512 texture sizes.
CS2 uses at least 4K textures.
You can figure out why its file size has increased so drastically.
Btw, we ain’t in 1990-2000 anymore, we don’t see extreme low poly models either. Think about it. The higher the polycount, the more demanding the game will be.

Not everybody can afford a 3080 Ti and a high end CPU. You seem to be lucky in your life if you don’t have garbage hardware as you say. But at least I can try the game with all it’s new features even if it doesn’t look GORGEOUS AND SHINY like in your Royal PC. And I’m sure I’m not the only one wanting to play it decent. 😉

To all of you with the “No licence” Error:
Before Installation check the “Copy contents of RUNE directory to installdir”
or after installation open the iso file, copy everything in the “RUNE” folder, then paste them to where you installed the game.
