     I checked it is a worse version of age of pirates 2 so no it is the kind of game I would love to be made but actually good since you can capture and command ships you fight and you have boarding battles and all that just sadly its really poorly made

       Of course, all these games are a slight modernizations of Sea dogs (Russian – “Corsairs”). Sea dogs 2 was bought out by Disney Interactive to advertise the Pirates of the Caribbean and became colloquial with the movie (potc 2003 still the best goddamn pirate game).
       they all use the Storm engine, running on DirectX8. it became open-source a few years ago and there’s a very active modding community for it.

       there are 2 games out now, you can call a better AoP2.
       Beyond New Horizons, is a free game, which is a full remake of sea dogs 2 in the improved and fully bug-free environment.
       Gentlemen of Fortune: Maelstrom is a game based on AoP2 and fully revamped with an engine upgrade and a full streamline of all all systems. costs 12 bucks.
