Do people always have to write a complaint about the size of the game? If you are actually a gypsy with no money and cannot buy a simple HDD with more capacity, you can start begging at the entrance of that stupid hamburger restaurant you have near your house. The problem it’s not to download +/-200gb but the size of this game suck truly very much ! Devs of this game don’t know to do a setup for different expension packs/maps & to compress strong game’s files… & I think even with Steam in depend about what players buy of expension packs/maps, maybe need to install all expension packs/maps purchased & not just the last new purchased…
That was a very long tile that I don’t play this game but seem like with this version, they just make a single file ShooterGame-Windows.ucas for all expensions packs/maps & not like before where it was separated folders/files…

Lmao hdd to play ark? ark has to be played in a ssd or you will live in a constante state of loading assets, ark’s size problem is old and well known, their last game was 500gb with dlcs and 1tb~2tb with mods This complaint is about the developer and not about this website which does a great service to the community.

to access Astraeos map since it a DLC ARK go to
1- CREATE GAME
2- the map should be under mod arks if not then download it
3- click MOD SETTINGS then at the bottom click GET MODS
4- top right search Astraeos its by nekatus_modding 6.4 GB
5- click install wait until done
6- go back to CREATE GAME menu the map should be under mod arks now
7- support the game by buying the dlc if you can afford it
7- use your brain cells or what’s left of it at least smh…
I followed the instructions 100% and it doesn’t work. I download the mod but the mod doesn’t appear in the list to be activated. Even any other mod after being activated doesn’t work in the game!
i told you i have 2 brain cells ( 7) twice
that’s Astraeos the mod map (older) not the official (new) 15$ includes a new island in the middle and other changes . just so i don’t bait people to download 200gb if its just the older version of the map not the official one>

Can you help with the installation? i dont know what to do
Everythings flawless till you download + install (works and get listed) those are Activated from yourself and show active. Then you start the Map and not even any single Mod shows up or works. The Mods are registered in the Gameusersettings .ini but somehow doesnt get executed. any idea someone?
Mods are compatible, thats defo not an issue.
