   HOODLUM is shit, i downloaded some games from him, everytime i try to run ‘setup’, there are some error pops..

   @archie.baldwinn: we respect ur opinion, but trust me i download every hoodlum release and works just fine without problem, sometime it trigger ur AV, but its false positive!

   Hoodlum add their own “iso” protection to all of their releases. You can’t extract the iso and run setup. You must mount the iso and run setup to install without receiving and error on install. Someone make a sticky or something about this.

   But yeah, i just wanted to share my opinion on hoodlum..
   The other day i downloaded ghostbusters, turned off anti virus and then run setup, and boom, here it is, error, so nevermind.. I did exactly all of this with this game, and again, same..

   @archiee.baldwinn must be some strange setup you use or something, the games do work from them as long as you make exception for their installer in your antivirus program.
   regarding ghostbusters – dont blame hoodlum, blame the game gamers because the game is exactly the same on epic store. it has no protection. like GOG games also lack protections.
   if you dont believe it, too bad, but its the truth about it.
   Add exeption to your AV and you’ll be fine playing their releases.

   So, based on the gameplay video, basically an audiobook, with some visual aspects included. A visual novel so to speak. Will have to download and see if any combat is included. To be fair, the game description does say “first-person adventure”. It remains to be seen whether this rings true.

   Whatever the outcome may be, my thanks to Hoodlum for making this game available. Your efforts and dedication is as always, much appreciated.

    Releasing new game is one thing, but making it playable is the second. When it comes to releasing updates, Hoodlum is rather medicore member of Scene.

    Look at the bright side guys, at least you didn’t pay for that game.

    Imagine paying for it and doesn’t work, and getting trolled by the dev to wait for update patch till you can’t refund the game anymore.

    So far I tried most Hoodlum games and all of them ran fine to me.

    Mr.Baldwin, no doubt in your skills and pc configuration. Obviously it must be evil Hoodlum who fucked by making bad games. It couldn’t be your fucked up pc. Despite the fact everyone is just alright with their free games, but how could you be wrong? Geniuses are never wrong, are they?
