When you replace our old crack with the crackfix, you may still have troubles launching the game. To resolve these you have to block the following files in your firewall: activation.exe, EACoreServer.exe, EAProxyInstaller.exe, PatchProgress.exe.Or simply delete them.

@Vanilla I’ve been wondering the same thing. Just DL’d patch v1.8 for Far Cry 4 and there are a bunch of files that seem to have the exact same thing in them…

I downloaded it, and it works perfectly, only thing is it has crashed on me randomly after playing for a while, but not sure if it’s my laptop getting hot or what? I have a Lenovo G580, Win 8.1, 500gb hdd, 8gb MEM, HD4000 grafx, I think it is.. my temps get to almost 160F! is that too hot?

Download, install, and crack went completely fine, yet it just keeps crashing randomly ingame, saying “The software has been tampered with. Please install original software”. I tried uninstalling and reainstalling, but no change.

I had the same issue with Alice Madness Returns not launching on my brand new Windows 10 Desktop Acer Aspire T PC. Turns out when I installed my also brand new Nvidia GTX-950 graphics card and realized I needed to uninstall the onboard AMD Radeon R7 graphics. However my CPU is also AMD A8 and the only way I was able to successfully resolve this issue was use Device Manager and select “show hidden devices” and under the Display Adapters, uninstall the AMD Radeon R7 but I chose to not delete the driver software. I also installed the Directx End User Runtime Installer because Xinput.dll and others were missing when I tried to run American McGee’s Alice from the Alice1 folder. Anyway, hope this helps if anybody has a PCI-E card they installed but their both onboard graphics are installed with VITAL CHIPSET DRIVERS. Those with AMD CPU and onboard AMD GPU NEVER EXPRESS UNINSTALL via Catalyst install manager! I can’t stress that enough, that will mess up your whole PC. Uninstall via Device Manager ONLY and leave everything as is. That is from personal experiance and some research well done.

I tried installing the fix, but it doesn’t work
I tried disabling the game in firewall but it also doesn’t work, it tells me to reinstall the game if I delete or disable activation.exe, EACoreServer.exe, EAProxyInstaller.exe, and PatchProgress.exe
Please help me! If I play the game with just the normal crack it works only for a while before crashing and tells me to buy the original game….
