Does anyone know if it now works on slightly older CPUs? I have an i7 3770k + RTX 3070 and I can run all current games. Just this game that insists on not opening, at least all versions before this didn’t open, does anyone know if they fixed this problem in this version?

Yeah, you might want to upgrade that CPU of yours. You can go cheap and get yourself an AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3D, or you can go for something like the Intel Core i7 12700k. Both require Motherboard and RAM upgrades, however.
As for cooling, I will recommend a liquid cooler or a really good air cooler like Noctua or BeQuiet, although neither are cheap, but they’re really damn good.

He is actually right. Normally the RT performance is not that far away from other vendors. Usually the fps halves when rt gets activated. But in the case of those “sponsored” games the performance decreases by a factor of 4 or even more for the competition.

the problem is the worst issue of this game still there and seem impossible to get fix. performance problem still the same. since the problem came from they mess up with texture files of this game so hard. let’s say in order to proper load just a 2D map (yup just a regular 2d paper map) you need SSD. the first game in history that need SSD for loading a 2D map. in another word if you gonna play (which the game play feel like it is not exist at all) you need SDD or you will have super long loading time and unsync animation (this part also look awkward even when it sync properly) for the whole game. honestly, i don’t understand how it get 10/10 review score when the gameplay is next to none exist (some people did compare it with RE4 which is totally BS), story beside from no horror feel also no dept in it. this is the first game that make me feel regret for played it and feel wasted for the spec it use. however i thanks whoever uploaded this game here since i can play it for free and not pay overprice for this overrate game.
I can’t get it started, when try to run it, it launches epic and then it quits out of it a few seconds after booting up the title. Does anyone know a work around for this?

You can’t chrck in-game, there’s no way. But this update added ng+, so if you already beat the game try to start a new game + run. If you can start final draft, that means the update worked. This update also added nightmare difficulty so same situation. Try to start ng+ on nightmare and if it’s there that means the update worked fine.
