   Solution to the black screen issue:
   1) Install Ubisoft connect with a fake account.
   2) Connect to Ubisoft connect and go to offline mode.
   3) Install the game and copy the crack files.
   4) Edit “Anno 1800\Bin\Win64\uplay_r1_loader.ini” and change if you want/need the username and the language (see first line of the file).
   5) Launch the game (with admin right and win 8 mode if needed).
   Enjoy!

   Same issue as these guys below, crashes on start, worked fine yesterday. Tried the fake uplay connect, the Windows 8 compatibility, doesn’t work.
   Not sure to scale it up to Ubisoft broken dev or intentional sabotage.

    Moi probleme de fps et la serieux je vois pas…
    j’ai une tres bonne config
    Chute de fps des que je met un objet en surbrillance quand je passe la souris dessus… j’ai fait plein de test graphique et ca ne change pas je passe de 120 fps a 28 des que ma souris se pose sur quoi que ce soit… meme le bouton croix du menu option je tombe a 28 fps des que je pose la souris dessus.
    j’ai test tout les graphisme en low et je passe de 230 fps a …. 28

    GUYS I FIXED IT

    Symptom : Game crashes on startup after initial black screen.

    How to check it’s same issue : Go to \Documents\Anno 1800\log last file and look for line :
    [ERROR] GetWindowsUUID: Failed to initialize security. Error code = 0x-7ffefee7

    How to fix :
    add registry key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\Anno1800.exe
    add value
    Name : AppID
    Type : REG SZ

    That work for me

    For crashes at startup. crashes after ubisoft logo,and crashes after pressing new game option etc.( Windows 10 users
    Follow the below fix:
    -> Go to control panel ( win key + s and type control panel )
    -> Click on “Clock and Region”
    -> Click on “Region”, a new window will pop up.
    -> Select “English ( United States )” in the drop down list for “Format option”, press apply and ok to finalize the settings.
    -> Re-launch the game and your CTD issue should be fixed.

    Same thing, game worked fine for a few days then yesterday i started getting more and more blue screens, to the point where it happened every time 2 seconds after loading a save or starting new game.

    Crackfix worked for an hour then i got blue screen again. Its definitely the game itself, got nothing like this on any of the other games, and it doesnt have anything to do with graphics settings or my pc or stuff like that.

    Got mine to work. Had the black screen problem and then some dumb error message after. Nothing worked.

    My fix was simple, but will not work for most people on hear.

    Reinstalled windows 10, only keeping files and folders.

    Now the game works perfectly.

    Worked again when i cleaned the Shader-Cache and Delivery optimization. Change region to US on windows, you will have to do this everytime you open the game.

    Hey, first of all GG to the team who crack denuvo, really, i hope i can afford to make you a donation as you deserve 😉

    The game and the crack work, i had a few issue first, black screen at start (btw some times you see the mouse icon change before crash at start, some times you see epilepsy warning … but it’s like the blackscreen at start :

    1. make sure your antivirus don’t delete something when you unzip files (specialy EMP.dll, seen as virus but it’s not … come one you are on a illegal crackgame website, have some faith in humanity :P)

    2. make sure uplay/ubisoft connect is on but offline (no need to fake account, you can is you like)

    3. select region USA on window

    I check all these and the game is working fine, i want to try it because i’ve always ear about anno game but never really try them, if it’s my type i will buy it too, but first money to the team who crack it ! cya

    It still doesn’t work for me, i tried all this:
    1. changed region to english (united states), i also tried canada but didnt work either
    2. updated videocard driver
    3. updated directx (didn’t need update btw)
    4. lauched ubisoft connect and set it too offline modus
    5. all 4 files in the crack folder are in my folder, replaced and nothing deleted or blocked by firewall
    6. compatibility set on windows 8 or 7 or no compatibility, i tried them all
    7. used disk cleanup to delete ‘directx share cache’ and ‘delivery optimization files’
    8. also tried a different download from the skidrow website with the empress crackfix, but that also failed.

    Does anybody have another suggestion for me? I’m out of options.
    My log file is full of errors saying: ‘doesn’t exist, can’t compute file size!’ and ‘The system cannot find the path specified.’. Do you guys have that aswell in your logfiles when the game is working? I reinstalled multiple times, ubisofts forum suggests verifying the files, but ofc i can’t do that.

    this worked for me
    -i change the date (anything before march 2021) before starting the game
    -disconnect the internet before starting the game

    by doing above two steps i just installed the game and just ran it, no need to make any ubsoft account or anything, works with WeMod too but you need to start the game using WeMod.

    yes it does crash sometimes on start, just restart your pc and do it again.
    its free so i dont mind restarting pc few times.

    Okay, so after spending hours going through errors. From what i could tell the initialization was faulty
    i managed to find another crack on 1337x.to
    Idk if i can post the link, but the name is Anno 1800 Crackfix-EMPRESS, posted by IGGGAMESCOM on Jan 9th 2021 and has a size of 193.7MB. It worked for me.
    Altho i also did edit the engine.ini file to start at Low settings and use DX11. I also run an offline Uplay fake acc in the background. Idk if taking one of them out of the equation will change smth, feel free to experiment.

     If your game stopped working , don’t bother any solutions around none will ever work
     (change time/registry entry/region/uplay fake account offline mode)

     This game in fact was never really cracked by empress team.
     These release you see around are just a limited time demo.

     Spare your time too on fitgirl repack “complete edition”, install will fail 100% no matter you check the 2gig ram box.

     Hop so you got a 2week fun.

       Lol Mep what are you talking 😀 There is simple solution, which is working even for me and all ppl, which I told them about this. All what you need do is change your date in pc to something before february 2021 + turn off internet and then start game. When game load, you can put all back. Easy 😉 If game stopped working and before was running, then there is always easy solution for something like that.

     For those who have game problems that have bugs, download the game crack and there will be more bugs, how to find the cracks you have to search on mods or YouTube.

     There’s something that people could be interested in so i’m sharing.
     There’s a DLC unlocker which allows you to get all the DLCs of the game, but you have to have bought the standard version (about 15€ RN). I haven’t tried it personnaly but i’m very tempted.

     Go on cs rin ru (espaces = dots), register, search for anno 1800 and find the topic. On the first message of that topic, there’s a guide on how to use that dlc unlocker.

     The rest is up to you.
